I HAD SUSPICIONS THAT BAEK JUNMIN (the ..?buzzcut?bald? guy that sabotaged Jaekyung in S1) IS/WAS A GANGSTER MOB because lemme be honest he doesn't even look like a legit boxer and the way he became a "super duper fast rising rookie" sounds suspicious enough. It's almost as if he entered the ring just to sabotage Jaekyung; which isn't surprising considering that he kinda made a lot of enemies, but they both knew each other, so this definitely sounds like a personal revenge or some unsettled beef between them to me. The fact that it's so well-planned,, they even made Dan as their scapegoat!
But anyway, I'm not even into boxing, but one look at Junmin and I can tell right away this guy is definitely NOT trained for professional boxing I had suspicions since the end of season 1 because it doesn't add up why he wanted to be Jaekyung's downfall (or he's just a pawn in someone else's plans).
