Like — I understand the Villainess. She got betrayed by her once love as her own eyes were covering the truth behind how selfish this man sounded like. But she can’t just be blaming the innocent ones, trynna take it out on the innocent descendants of this greedy bastard. She should blaming just that one man, unfortunately she lost her chance of revenged but to try and take it out on the others.
One man’s evil deeds should not fall upon the children when he is no longer there to blame. She should also blame herself for not even trying to listen to her elder mages. She had them killed for her own selfish greed for the love of this man that asked too much. But still, she’s such a good villain, literally got some sort of sympathy for her. Still. The pacing. The genuine likeness between these two characters. And the want to genuinely protect and gain his little majesty’s trust is so adorable. I know that she said she’d never marry anyone nor him but the fact that she was slowly starting to like him rather than quickly making them like each other is honestly so good.
