Looks like most if not all of the monkeys who went nuts and attacked the rabbit were on a drug the bartender is supplying them. Once the drug gets them to damage their sign, there is no saving them.
It's sad if the monkey population extinct, but their colony keep consuming the drugs until their sign is damaged, so it's their own colony fault as well. Just imagine if their colony went rampage to the human as well, that would be terrible
Tbf Siyeol didn’t kill anyone who didn’t instigate the fight ever. They were all looking to do who know what to their own prey. /so I have no sympathy.
Even if we make the argument that they are hopped up on drugs you would assume their own heiratchy would step in and put an end to the issue.
Also from my understanding Siyeol never killed any monkeys that weren’t too far gone anyways.
