I remember when I first read this the final chapter hadn't come out yet (don't remember where I read it, but I couldn't find it anywhere.) I had to watch it in a video on youtube, it was so pretty with the music put in as background but I cried at that pathetic ending. they could have at least shown her face, we just have to guess she was the one he saw in that last panel, but it was still so beautiful┗( T﹏T )┛

I really loved this. Can't tell how many times I've re-read this. It's not 100% perfect, there are parts I don't really like, like how Siwon's story was left hanging, and nothing happened to the people who hurt him, but the parts we got were too amazing so it's still pretty satisfying.
I came to find this after I found a comment on some other story, I literally just laughed at the comment for a few minutes and wanted to see the story about a girl who's fiance fell for her liver. (In the other story, mc fell for the boyfriend's face).
I like the guy, and her reaction is understandable, but I just can't get into it. I read to CH 4 and skipped to CH 22, then read the spoilers in the comments. Maybe because it's shoujo and an old series at that.
One thing I will say is that I understand why the fl is getting bashed. As someone who read twilight back in the day and loved it, I'm aware how problematic that story was and her reaction while very real is kinda frustrating, especially when we get to know that the reason they even got together was because he like her liver - and decided to protect her from other Kumihos that want to kill her and eat her liver. If he'd left her alone, she would be dead. He also genuinely loves her now, so you want the development to happen quickly an have her love him too. It's obviously the end game, but I'm not ready to read the whole story for it.
If he left her alone, that doesn't mean he couldn't still protect her or that she would end up dead. But that would probably take away from the excuses most people use to bash the victim if they took that into consideration. He's 'protecting' himself, no one else. Protection means the one protecting gives up something not the one being protected. Any other kind of protection is just abuse. Obviously. It is unfortunate to note however that this position makes it clear that FLs are d@mned if they do and d@mned if they don't, that people will indeed blame the FLs when they fall in love with their abuser AND when they won't. Weird huh.
I saw the tragedy tag and thought it would be ok anyway, read to ch 13 and skipped to the ending.
It's an actual tragic ending.
The cover looks good but I'm not sold on the story.
So much second hand embarrassment, but it was cute.

Finished this, and skimmed through the sequel for more Yuri x Jaerim scenes. They weren't without their flaws, but in the end they were really cute together and will continue to grow healthy together now that Yuri's emotional trauma has been dealt with. I do wish he grows to accept help more. He also apologized for all his behaviour by the end, which made me tear up a little (I think five apologies in total? I might have missed some, but I'm glad it wasn't just ignored like in most bl.)
I loved it, but after comments, I skipped the side couples. The otaku couple was it for me, they don't really get as much time for development so I don't think I'd fully enjoy them. Kang and Dunno were in the middle of the story so they were hard to skip, but I thought those two guys deserved each other honestly, I don't really care for more of their story.
One thing I do disagree on is Aerak and Heeno and Doyul. I don't think Doyul deserved Aerak more, because it doesn't work like that, Aerak is a person with feelings and made his own choice. I do agree that Doyul deserved more, I only skimmed the last chapter of this arc and I feel sorry for him. I wish the author wrote his happy ending, whether with a man or woman.
