No, “I love you” does not magically erase the longing and pain associated with how you ghosted me lol
And for the ML to give the excuse that the MC would be public and fight against the evil musician.. that’s not good enough.. he better treat him so good right now bc tbh ghosting once can be done twice

I cringed when the purple hair tried on the ring.. ngl id get the ick if I saw that as the MC.. what do you mean another b*tch tried on the ring before me ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Also So-eun is like so giddy and nervous as if this is her first relationship.. babgirl calm the anxiety down because Taejoon ain’t going anywhere, that’s for sure

But why do I wanna see Taeha and her get back together? Maybe she’ll cheat out of anger but that’s probably unlikely she looked “forced in” with this marriage to him so maybe she’ll feel relieved when the redhead exposes their revenge porn/sex tape lol
Also side note I love the art style.. almost all of the characters are drawn in such dynamic styles that they don’t fit a usual character phenotypes besides maybe Taeha

That the villain FL was spreading rumors that they were together just to appease public interest.. lol and now everyone and their momma assumes he’s getting married
Hopefully he clears the rumors soon and can the FL also make a decision soon?
Also I’m excited for the incoming father-daughter date + play chess
This is clearly a complex story of assigning wrongs to innocent parties and how trauma obfuscates your reality and your actions.. also bffr like y’all wouldn’t hate the FL too if she was associated with the family that plagued your entire life
The title is clearly “My beloved oppressor” for a reason.. they’ve both oppressed each other unwillingly and sometimes unbeknownst to each other lol
Also her crying for her scum ridden parents made me laugh ngl.. to dozens upon dozens of people her parents represented true terror and violence and for that scene to be shown like that.. I like the dichotomy though
Anyway I loved the novel.. very beautifully written
I agree. This portrays the vast grey area of morality quite well.
I sure as hell wouldn't psychologically torture and physically torture someone, even if I hated them. ESPECIALLY if they were innocent.
But through your hatred of them how would you distinguish that they are “innocent” lol
Again as readers we shouldn’t always contextualize themes in our POV because it blurs the lines and instead see the characters POV
I wouldn’t be too involved with those I hate either but then again I’m not a trained war dog who was brutalized day in day out so my point is moot
Furthermore hatred doesn’t often makes sense to us on the outside because we don’t see or feel the same things. His trauma is literally making him incapable of sound judgement and you expect him to separate the “innocent FL” from the rest of his hatred lol
