i love kurumi so much, she’s come so far.. her development was one of my favs in kimi ni todoke so i was worried it’d be a bit redundant in this spin-off. but i think it still flowed well, tho it’s been years since i finished the original series so maybe i’m misremembering some stuff.
i absolutely adore kurumi and sawako’s friendship.. platonic soulmates, YAY! ik that a lot of people saw kurumi as a more queer coded character, and i saw that too, so i was a bit wary of reading the spinoff bc it looked like the author just tried to pair her off with a male sawako… but upon reading this, i think it’s a well matched pairing! eiji is definitely not like sawako at all (granted, i never read the series he was a part in) and his personality was more alike with kurumi than expected. overall, this was great!
hoping for more content.. anything… chizu and ryu… maybe even ayane’s story sometime in the future. i adore the knt cast!
i cant believe it took me so long to read this, but im glad i finally did. i adore takeo, suna, and yamato so much!! theyr all such good friends and care so much for each other.. might be my favorite trio in all animanga that i’ve consumed… besides yorozuya from gintama xD
i love love loooove their dynamics with one another. such a wholesome cast. usually in shoujo romances, it gets frustrating when new characters keep getting added for the sake of a jealousy arc. while it was sort of the case here, i found the individual character development very refreshing. everyone was able to learn something from one another and it was such a sight to see! i love romance! i love friendship! i love LOVE!
and i absolutely adore how takeo and yamato both end up going to suna for relationship advice.. hehe theyr all such great characters!!! WAAAA i need a friend group like theirs.. i want a friend like suna.. i want a lover like yamato.. i wanna be like takeo… (delusional)
i love that takeo’s love story didnt only focus on his love with yamato. he has love and appreciation for all those around him… his relationship with suna was just so refreshing, i love seeing that in a shoujo.. Peak. this is Peak.

they r such a lovely and cute couple! haruhi is such a refreshing and lovable MC… i adore her so much, her personality matches well w her beloved ossan :3
the male friend pissed me off so bad…. god, talk about throwing a tantrum bc he got rejected. idc about his new relationship. perhaps aya deserved someone better..
also.. u can tell the author loved drawing these two, the extras were so long! lots of little snippets of their day to day lives. i love when there is love poured into a work :’3
came for the babies that i saw on social media.. and the.. ahem, snake thing.. but got hit with the truck of grief. cried like a lil bitch. i loved how the author portrayed it tho. loneliness, grief, moving on.. very lovely. <3
