Ok..... while none of those real manipulative girls that I ever saw (who manipulated others like that, back in high school) reacted *that* far off the charts when not getting their way... ...I'm still sorry to say it's scary how the part about manipulative lil' "sweethearts" trying to pull you in hook and sinker several times with that technique ("Woo is me, my life is so pitiful bc *insert bull crap*, but you're surely gonna feel sorry for me and do *just this one more thing* for me, once again, because even though you're so much better off than me, you're still a kind person to those worse off than you... aaaaren't youuuuu???" *rinse and repeat several times over*) is still VERY accurate...
...Unless I am the only unfortunate soul in here who DID manage to cross paths with those types of "beautiful humans" in high school? ..Perhaps I was so naive, I even attracted them...
Thank GOD I grew out of it.

I thought the nosebleed meant there would be an improvement... But NO.
Who would've known: blue hair's such a *huge* social inept that the extent he's been starving for human affection is so high, he'd cling to the first crumbs of emotional connection that anyone had thrown his way... no matter if they were faked with dark magic.

It's a bit scary how darn *accurately* this webtoon depicts teen/early adult girl's thoughts and behaviors... On another note: Loony girl focusing on Sera so intensely and from so early on makes me suspect she had made some kind of sketchy deal with that shady old man of the creepy eyes to do witchcraft on Sera and curse her.

Spoiler about their relationship

The crazy bitch was born cursed, she would never be loved, never happy. Her parents found the shaman and he said that the only way to "cure" Crazie from the curse, was passing it to another child.
Crazie them decides she wish to pass on to Sera. Because of that, Sera's started acting like a crazy mad woman, she was conscious about her acts and that she was hurting people, but she was unable to stop.

So. let me get this straight.........
So far, what we know about the crown prince's "mysterious" motivations is:
--
1) that the crown prince has a curse that can only be cured by "confining" the FL (.........yeah, they said so in chapter "zero", but don't ask me, I still don't get why, either...);
2) that this curse that the prince has is somehow related to the same red dragon that her ancestor defeated (key word, that her ancestor "purified" with "divine power"), and,
3) that the reason it has to be her (that he confines) is connected to how she can use the power of (probably all) constellation treasures....?

And I think that's all. Did I miss anything?

I almost... ALMOST misunderstood the mc as a pushover Mary Sue who can't do anything other than acting pitiful to the emperor and receiving his protection... thank heavens I persevered because by chapter 9 I understood that's only a first impression, and she's actually a layered, realistically humanized vulnerable character prone to speaking with emotional frankness, and who that establishes humanized, emotionally frank interactions with other people (and more importantly, with the ML)
Edit:
Still, I think I will still drop this for now... since it seems the ML has a(n unwanted) royal harem and the first arc will focus on the mc's catfights with the members. I simply can't stand royal harem's petty squabble stories, normally... (the only exception "I will fall with the emperor", for obvious reasons...)
