Read up to chap 16 and I must say I'm appalled at how base, shallow and *utterly mediocre* minded every supporting character is, in this story. How can one person's (the mc's) entire social surroundings be filled with NOTHING but garbage, base, disgustingly and annoyingly TOXIC, mediocre self-entitled people (even in her own family?!?)?
1) The guy who came back after studying abroad and keeps grumbling about having to meet up with a former schoolmate for work, just because she's "not hot enough" for his tastes (dude... it's your JOB, whatever happened to carrying your own weight and to work ethics, and what part in your job description says your main task in a *work* metting is "finding yourself more candidates to stick your d... into"???)
2) The mc's former crush... someone please run him over with a truck, cause it's hard to imagine how someone can continue to exist being such a mediocre human being, both in behavior and in prospects, yet thinking so highly of himself and what he deserves. Dude, just go jump a cliff, PLEASE.
3) The mc's own sister is ALSO pure garbage?? (won't elaborate, just read chapter 16)
I can't believe the author isn't placing one single fairly decent person among her friends and family. It's aggravating.
He's turning yandere *fast*... but nope, not enough trash yet, to outdo the mc's own trash family... the mc's family raised the trash bar way too high in this one

I think it's because they had that childhood connection. None of the other imperial family members had it, or they just thought he was a child and would grow out of the obsession I'm guessing.

It's almost ridiculous how annoying they're making his POV out to sound: "her gaze should be directed at me, not at things through the window". The ML is getting annoying with all the childish vibes while pretending so hard to act like an "adult" (and yeah... those feel more like childish tantrums than just some sophisticated "music prodigy's" quirks, to be honest). He is like a young adult who wants to seem all cool and mature, but doesn't realize how he ends up giving himself away with how he will suddenly start acting out like a spoiled brat, out of nowhere (can't even argue he was just being tsundere, when he acted like a quarrelsome little f**er from the very beginning, even parading himself naked all around the apartment, just to antagonize and drive away the mc... *and dude, if you don't want any roommates then why not take it up with your own cousin??*).
He also gives himself away when he fails to figure out obvious stuff like *why* the older guy would be so confused and troubled by what happened between them (not to forget, instigated by the *ml*): He mistakes the mc for being too shallow and casual about what happened between them, when it's obvious *why* the mc is so bent on playing it down, trying to avoid jumping head first into a relationship that might turn out wrong, as he would obviously fear the predictable negative consequences to himself, if it went all wrong (consequences like, losing the new roof over his head, for one... or facing frictions with the older cousin, his hyung from college, for another... let alone, maybe even risking getting accused by the Hyung, of having "taken advantage" of his "adult-aged but still much younger" baby cousin...). And I mean, dude, if you can't figure THAT out...
If he doesn't step up his game...
