Hahahah, Grandpa Temptation basically trolling this story now, and here I am, loving every second of it. (≧∀≦) (≧∀≦) (≧∀≦)

Ok starting to understand less and less I think it's time to re-read the last 20 chapters.. ...heck, maybe I should make that, "re-read the last *50* chapters"...

    Isekaied by truck-kun May 20, 2025 5:44 am

Jay, just read the entire second season it took me at least three re-reads to fully understand what was going on and still got like half the lore explained from other people in the comments.

I'm proud of blondie, and his mom better never be that naive again. "He's getting worse, ma'am... so, pretty please, can I get engaged and marry your son ASAP??" ...Who in this day and age still thinks that "getting married" can be a solution for mental and emotional issues?? Unless the wife-to-be is a certified shrink-- wait, no, not even then. Because the spouse of a mentally ill person is always in for an ENORMOUS struggle... and besidesthose who really love the patient don't need a piece of paper to start showing the patient their affection and care, anyway. Key point: *ask* the patient their opinion too? (and isn't that obvious??)

Yes, Stalker nut girl lied, but it was his mother who readily believed her, without even ckecking facts with her son, and for quite a long time. The only way she could've believed it for this long is if his mother WANTED them to be a couple, for all the wrong reasons. Main one of the wrong reasons is, you don't see romantic relationships, let alone marriage, as a magic "fix it" that will help a mental health patient solve their problems (that is a backward view that's been out of date for a while). If the mother thought getting her son married would "help", that means at some point she thought that with this she could get her son something like a "NURSE cum WIFE" (a wife who'd act like his free therapist, nurse, etc etc, even without the official title). Basically, a wife to "fix him"... to "heal" him... and basically to help lift the burden from the mother's sjoulders by replacing her as the main person in charge of taking care of him, thus getting the "problem" of the mother's own hands... which is a conflicting view with latest proggressive thinking that revealed the hardships that spouses and lovers of patients suffer, the sacrifices that it takes, and thus how people should NOT enter that without being mentally and emotionally prepared, receiving substantial support by the rest of both theirs and the patient's families and friends, and most of all, without delluding themselves into thinking that "love itself fixes everything" when it comes to mental illness (because it doesn't, therapy and and the patient's own behavior does more than half of it)

Boss daddy's angry, Emperor hubbie's coming, Lil kid-cutie turned into Big Bro-Massacre, Bro-in-law sneaking more "uninvited guests" into the party... ahaha, this gonna get good

JayJay (I'm back!) May 6, 2025 4:22 am

So, is this all to induce the high priest villain to feel threatened enough to counterattack without thinking, by attacking the Crown Prince's fake "weakness" that they fed to his obvious spy, the fake "Yurika" (Lizzie), thus exposing them and discreditting them BOTH?

JayJay (I'm back!) May 6, 2025 2:59 am

Why am I getting Indiana Jones vibes (and wasn't he like the king of escape rooms, anyway)

People wanting to know if Osiris can affect Horus' growth like he did Anubis' growth? I don't think he can, because he (Osiris) could only affect Anubis' growth because Anubis still has Osiris' Flower of Life inside of his body, which was introduced in chapter 19 (where we learn Osiris used that flower to send Anubis back to the world of the living, basically resurrecting him, after Anubis had committed suicide and ended up visiting him in Duat, as a child); this Flower of Life is also the medium through which Osiris was able to keep "possessing" Anubis (and briefly visit the world of the living) in season 1. But Horus doesn't have that inside him.

Wait, when did Anubis commit suicide? (/TДT)/ do you know which chapter this was shown? I really can't remember this piece of information( ̄∇ ̄")

I agreed, iirc the curse came from Seth and i do as heck know Osiris wants nothing to do with Horus. Not even a glance lmao…

    Chapter 19 JayJay (I'm back!)

I mean, that chapter is why I'd been thinking of Nephthys as "mother of the year" all this time (because, she hadn't done anything to protect her son from the crazed Seth's constant physical and emotional abuse on him, at the time, hadn't even known her son had gone missing for a while, nor that it'd been because he had gone, offed himself, and DIED! ...And even after finding out about all that, she STILL wouldn't tell her son crap about the truth of what was really going on... or about what she suspected had caused his stunted growth... even when doing so would've restored his growth, saved him from his cursed arm, etc etc). Even though now we know it's because she was lobotomized by Osiris... This is why I ship her with "mental recovery" rather than with Seth...

Translation putting "brother" instead of "father", "Noelia" instead of "Noel", and "Mom" instead of "grandma" aside, the FL's parents were really cute hahah. Loved how her dad blushed like a tomato when he first met her mom. Her mom was really really pretty!!

Yup the translation is a freaky mess.

Anyone ever heard of becoming a "night guardian" included in the "tips to help a loved one with sleepwalking disorder"?? I've seen people even recommend that you "lock doors and windows and hide the keys", and even "place an alarm or bell on the bedroom door and if necessary, on any windows" before losing one's one sleep to watch over a sleepwalker on a regular basis.

JayJay (I'm back!) March 22, 2025 9:47 pm

Lol, the author finally did go for "fictional doctor's bullshit logic". I already said a realistic doctor would not only give him med for his sleepwalking or sleeping pills to knock him out at night, but tell him to try locking his bedroom door at night, laying off the booze, and starting psychological therapy, etc, and basically anything else rather than directly tell him to "have someone watch over you". While a realistic doctor would certainly say it's better to have a roommate than live alone, they wouldn't do something so IDIOTIC as practically enforce sleep deprivation on a "watcher" third person, since that person would need to stay awake to "keep watch". Why do that when the doctor can just prescribe that the patient take sleeping pills, or any type of medication that can prevent sleepwalking, before that? Common sense tells you the other person needs their sleep too, and can't keep watching over you for nights on end, because depriving others from their rest isn't a real solution, and sleep deprivation can turn into a serious health and *mental* problem.

??? It literally shows the bottle of meds that the Doctor prescribed. She told him to lay off the drinking, too. And having someone “watch over you” doesn’t mean in the literal sense- it’s just someone in the house/near the bed to keep caution if Dan does wake up….it’s not an unbelievable thing to say??? I’m confused as to why you chose this very minor thing to nitpick

It is a minor thing ONLY if you think that making someone else shoulder that responsibility of watching over a sleepwalker during the night, on a regular basis, would not eventually cause problems for that person's own rest, or affect the quality of their own sleep. Particularly so when there ARE tons better solutions: I've taken the trouble of making even a shallow online research and behold, evenbasic sites with tips on "how to help a loved one with sleeping disorder" say the same thing. They only give you tips on what you do if you happen to see someone sleepwalking, but NEVER recommend that you become the sleepwalker's regukar watcher they recommend instead, that you "place an alarm or bell on the bedroom door and if necessary, on any windows", if you have to. Even parents of sleepwalking children are advised any other measures over "keeping an eye" on their sleeping children since they know parents needing to stay alert when they should be resting, and thus getting sleep-deprived in the long-run, only makes things fworse for the entire family. It's not a real solution.
