Apparently, it was something serious and both the brother and ML were somehow involved, since the brother does know about it too and doesn't want the FL to remember the full details, thinking the only reason she'd ditch them for the ML is if she had finally remembered them.
- And while her grandpa was nice and supportive of her, her late father was an abusive trash who got a 2nd wife, the horrid sister's mother (BTW, is their brother from the same mother as the FL, or not? That's not very clear)
...So... any theories about what could've been the "incident"?
Perhaps she showed musical talent since young, and her brother had already tried to pass her musical scores as his own by killing her, but the ML prevented it?
