What the heck did he do before, whenever he said "Aha," for her to still react that way even with the amnesia... (I get the feeling maybe, when he knew she was lying, he used to "casually" trap her in the mirror, or whatever... just like he does now, with the "rude guys" inside "floor mats"?)

saw a comment say hes a demigod, so the guy getting turned into a floormat or a pet is because hes getting punished, the other gods kinda showed us why the guy got chosen, but her getting trapped in the mirror?? this might go down a whole nother rabbit hole… like imagine the husband just wants to torture her mentality….

Nowadays, I'm remembering when Ra said she regretted inventing MARRIAGE, of all things... when (as we've found out) there are PLENTY of her other 'inventions,' that she should be regretting, a lot MORE:
Ra: (back in chap. 70) "Gods should've never gone for human marriage. I now even regret having invented that marriage thing, in the first place. Marriage is useless!!"
Me: (now, after the raws) "Then... what about making those two friggin cursed mirrors? You should DEFINITELY regret having made *THOSE*!"

That two-faced "bodyguard" is so lame... Dude, is stalking some (allegedly) "clueless little girl" (and grovelling to her jealous mediocre loser, ugly hag of a stepmom) the most you could do with your life? ...Bc really, at this point, you'd even make a cockroach feel the 2nd hand embarrassement (might as well try to get some zeggs from the ugly stepmom out of it, at least... you absolute loser nobody)

Guys, is the ML unlikeable? I read up to chap. 4 and amazed myself at my instant unbearable disdain for the ML (which is something that shocked me because it's not something I usually feel, let alone so early on, so quickly, and even to this extent...) and after reading people's comments I gained the courage to ask you guys if I'm overreacting or someone else also felt that way, and, to those who've read up to the latest chapters: is this is worth reading, despite this guy, or ...does he even get any better?
I'm sorry, but there's just something SO unpalatable about him, and I already can't stand him.... Is it just me? Or... doesn't he act like he thinks he's so much better than her?? Just because he, unlike her, is ALLEGEDLY so chivalrous and "charitable to the poor" (when in fact "you too are just like her, over privileged, you hypocrite"). And I say "allegedly" because, to me, it just looked like he was even "gate-keeping" the orphanage and the charitable activism, like no one else is allowed to be also a donor and give to the poor in that oprhanage, or even visit them, without *his* approval? I REALLY wasn't impressed by his indifferent holier-than-thou attitude, and it only got worse after crap that he said to her "You don't belong here" when they bumped into each other by coincidence in the orphanage (like he was the "owner" of those orphans and they were his exclusive territory to gather a reputation for "social activism" from, or sth???), it really disgusted me ("dude, who THE EFF do you think you are, acting like you OWN those poor people, like you have the say of who belongs or doesn't belong visiting them and helping them, and kicking out another potential charitable donor for NO reason, like you're gate-keeping the charity and the poor in that place?? Doesn't that just make you look like you don't want 'competition,' no 'rivals' coming to take from you the 'social prestige' of being thought to be 'so socially aware and compassionate'... and that you only do charity and social work there for the feeling of self-pride, superiority, and self-importance that it all gives you, rather than out of a sincere, authentic wish for those poor people's wellbeing? Otherwise, WHY ELSE would you try to keep away other potential donors / sponsors / helpers, for NO GOOD REASON??"). And his inane apologize later: "Oh, sorry that I acted nasty **cough*** and gate-keeping the orphanage **cough***... I just thought you had followed me here," (????). Dude, I haven't seen ONE hint of the mc stalking you, for you to so quickly assume that something like that was the reason why she was even there?? Did the author/artist miss how this would make the ML look?? The self-possessed conceit in that comment made me go from not standing him to downright hate him! He acts to her like he thinks he's practically "like god's gift to mankind" or something like that, and she's unworthy of him. Or, like he's one of god's chosen, blah blah blah, who's so unfortunately "wasting himself on an obviously lowly inferior, petty shallow creature" like our mc?? Am I crazy if I say THAT is the atmosphere he gives off to me?? ...Guys, does this guy get any better? ...
I simply can't stand assholes gate-keeping charitable activism and the poor, while clearly using them only as fuel for their own EGO. That's why I can't even remember when was the last time I got so unbelievably fed up with an alleged ML character, let alone this early on, that it made me seriously want to drop the entire story, after only a couple of chapters... (I don't have the habit of doing that) but... DOES THIS GUY GET A REALITY CHECK LATER, BECAUSE I'M AT THE POINT OF DROPPING IT
Anyway, sorry for the long rant

So the mc's finally started "remembering" some stuff. And Liena... seems to have ALWAYS had a preference for awful hair styles.

True, but I'm conflicted with my own theory. What if Leandro pas actually a decent husband in their first life and she had a happy marriage without Liena's interference? I can't imagine that wimpy jerk being a good husband. But I don't know how to explain MC marrying into that family without Liena's messing arround

That mirror's such a peeping tom

Yep, there are two mirrors, but Hathor is the owner of the one mirror that showed up in the bathroom where Horus and Seth were having sex, in chapter 201 (Hathor's flower goddess lackey is the one who sent the mirror there, through the flower stuck inside Horus' pants). I don't disagree that Sekhmet might be the second "owner" of the mirrors, since she is depicted on the back of them too and she can also able to summon the mirrors at will (there are even theories that Hathor and Sekhmet are in this story just like they are in their myth equivalents, where they're each other's alter-ego... so either the same person, or like, twins separated at birth... or, something similar...); but if we go by what has been explitely said in the story so far, it has only been specifically said that those are Ra the sun god's mirrors, that Ra gave to her daughter Hathor (but yeah, I think that definitely would have to mean that through Hathor, they would also have been given to Sekhmet, if Sekhmet really turns out to be like Hathor's alter ego, or something).

My tinfoil theory is sekhmet is hathor but hathor isnt aware of that or none is except for ra. Ra' s beloved perfect daughter was the epitome of grace beauty endless love.. I feel like her rage intense emotions and non attractive" parts manifest as sekhmet. I recall this one chapter in s1 when seth was bullying hathor and she suddenly used flame attack which caught seth by surprise.. like theres definitely more than what meets the eye here. I hope we get to see it by this s2 before s3 starts

Girl, what happened to "I'm gonna go hunting every day"? While I don't mind the romance, I DO mind being deprived of satisfying self-empowering scenes just to get the lamest kind of "romance" ever ("woo is me, his rejection's making me look bad in front of the *servants*!!"). Like PLEASE...there has to be better romance development than THIS.

So, she had the option of at least offering prayers, to make it a bit better, yet failed to do even that. Psycho just wanted to keep 'enjoying' seeing someone else suffer. I hope she gets all the divine punishment she deserves, along with that nasty shaman (her parents a lot less, but not scot free either, since they KNEW another innocent child was being targeted and still went along with it, it's hard to forgive that).
"Congratulations, Your majesty the emperor! It's a GIRL!!" (Haha, dear ML, better be nice to the baby niece!) And YESSSS. Finally, we're back to the plot-driven scenes!!! (the purely "romantic" ones, so far, have only managed to strike me as kinda annoying...)
By the way: now that it's confirmed this story's monarchy has a harem system, we can speculate that is why it was said the previous emperor had five children but no heirs: if they were all born either "outside" the palace, or to mere concubines and not to "official wives" like the empress and the consorts (and yeah, I'm thinking of this in terms of the ancient Chinese imperial harem's hierarchy)
