I had high hopes for this story because of the rating, i think it actually started good but on the latter part it kinda went down the drain... Like nara stand up and does the author not know the word consent, it really ruins the smut scenes like come on was there actually a scene where Nara didn't say stop
I was more annoyed by the fact that Nara seemed to change completely as a person from the beginning to when he met the cursed guy ten years later. He was more like a fan girl and kept repeating nonsense. He was smart and thoughtful in the beginning but almost felt like a complete idiot the next time he met the seme. I get what you are saying about the consent part (especially since it doesn't make for an enjoyable read) but considering that people are dying in almost every other chapter and consent was generally scoffed at by every man of power in the past, it takes backseat to the obvious personality disparity Nara displayed.
Yeah you're right, for me one thing that makes a story really good is the MC's personality especially since you're reading from their perspective, so if the MC's a pushover it really kinda ruins the story except if you're into weak MC's but for me who generally prefers MC's who can stand up for themselves, this story was really frustrating to read
