So cho-ah ( uke) lived in a village inhabited by doctors, at the time being a doctor was kinda taboo because there was a doctor who tried to poison a royal family member i don't remember who , that doctor was cho-ah's father . So this nation all kind of worshiped a god named Sura , and they believed that this god was gonna be reincarnated in a royal wich is our second ML mujin. Mujin is messed up he doesn't mean to but every place he sets foot in turns into bloodshed , he hated that he was the chosen sura so he ran away from the throne but bloodshed wouldn't leave him alone. After killing numerous villages he was found out by cho ah when he was injured so he brought him to his village and treated him . Mujin fell in love with him in an obsessive way and due to some circumstances he killed his whole village , and when cho ah found out he wanted to run away from mujin but he lost his memory due to physical and psychological trauma . After losing his memory he continued living with mujin who lied to him about evrything. Anyways cho-ah s dream was to become a known doctor so he wanted to go to the capital they were found out by mujin's cousin or brother i dont remember who was currently the heir to the throne. He was jealous of mujin being sura and tried to hurt his beloved to bring him down in the end he died by the hand of mujin who finally accepted sura to inhabit his body . By that time before the cousin was dead cho-ah got his memory back and he wanted nothing to do with mujin but it was too late sura/mujin was too obsessed with him he literally kinda disabled his leg so he won't run away . In the end cho-ah was so traumatized he chose the lesser eveil and that's to love mujin dince he had no other choice not even death.
