Why Kallisto? He wanted to kill the girl the first time they meet.
I get why he did that though, the prince has daily assassination attempts.

Kallisto comforts her, treats her respectfully, protects and helps her, they fight together. he also apologizes for threatening to kill her in the garden and tries to make up for it.
Vinter doesnt trust Penelope and thinks shes part of the leila clan, he then tried to test her which put Penelope in a dangerous situation. that mistrust puts a big strain on their relationship.
I know many people like the 2nd couple more but to me it was kinda controlling and I couldn't take it anymore.
I wish we got more of the 1st couple. They had just started dating and wanted to see more of what's going on for them but it just stopped.
