
From I can understand they had a whole bunch of resentment to work out, Law resented Jesse for being controlled and living in fear of being cast out when younger (and why he asked to not be controlled and to be an equal, and part of him wanted to even control Jesse) and then resenting being cast out for real in the end. But after experienced so many attempts on Moritat (he said it was as if he was there for 20 years), he managed to work out this resentment. And the only thing that lasted was that wish to always be with Jesse, catering to him (I would almost say he was a 'Sub' if it was that kind of relationship haha), in the end we can see that's their reality even if it's uncertain or might be hell but al least it's real.
I'm conflicted between being annoyed by the rape-like situation and overjoyed about the fluffy way the chapter ended. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
