The ending of LITC is a perfect reflection of the growth and healing of Cirrus, who is the real protagonist of this story with a truly moving background.
Since his childhood, Paskim left us subtle clues about his emotional needs: words like “Attention,” “Smile,” and “Special Days” were printed on his clothes when he was little, symbolising at the same time what he most longed for and never received.
However, Cirrus’ story does not stop at the pain of his past. Paskim shows us that, although the scars remain, healing is possible.
Throughout the story, Cirrus goes through each crucial stage of his life facing wounds and fears, until he finally finds what he always sought: a home.
And that home is not a physical place, but rather those who surround him with warmth. Now, as an adult, Cirrus has Candy, his faithful companion since childhood, and Skylar, his partner, who accepts him completely, with his goods and bads.
Together they form a genuine family, based on acceptance and reciprocal love.
Paskim manages to capture the emotional depth of her characters with careful narrative and beautiful art, transmitting complex feelings with unique sensitivity. The development of Cirrus is a clear example of how her pencil brings to life stories that not only entertain, but also leave a mark on the reader.
Not yaoi!! This story is not yaoi aka 19+! It’s shounen-ai/All Ages.
You literal said “It’s shounen-ai/All Ages.” Im referring to your perception of shounen-ai = all ages. It is more misinformation than whether it is Y or SI category. It is not once again, for all ages, like try reading it on official sites. It is labelled as just BL and 17+ bc it has tons of dark contents
I think u are the one who does NOT understand and it shows. In English the KR BL webtoons are divided into: All Ages and Mature (R-rated) that’s it. The division is made simply on the presence or lack of sex scenes. Do u have sex scenes in the webtoon? Then it’s Mature. You don’t have sex scenes in the webtoon then it’s All Ages. It doesn’t matter whether there’s blood or gore lol as long as there isn’t sexual activity is deemed and written ALL AGES!
Now let’s talk about how u see it in KR: in KR they divide it based as 19+ (meaning it has sex) and no 19+ (u basically won’t see the red circle 19+) which is deemed for EVERYONE under 19+.
Is that understood in your brain?
Honbul is on every legal platform ALL AGES and in KR doesn’t have any 19+ becase as I already said it’s deemed as All Ages!
If you want to apply the division KR webtoons/novels do to JP terminology we have:
19+ : yaoi (explicit sex scenes are shown)
No 19+ : shounen-ai (no explicit sex scenes or no sex scenes at all)
Yaoi isn’t used as a simply synonym of BL anymore. For both JP and KR we have the umbrella term BL which it’s later divided in yaoi/shounen-ai OR 19+/no 19+.
Discussion about English legal platforms (since u keep mentioning Manta right and left) lol
Each English platform states the “supposed age” one should read the story at based on their own standards (doesn’t have anything to do with KR)
For example, for L3zh*n everything that is not 19+ it’s called ALL AGES (doesn’t matter if it deals with gore or dark themes)
For Tappit00n everything that is not 19+ it’s called Age 16+
For Manta usually they label everything no 19+ as Age 17+
But all these “supposed” age threshold are simply based on each English platform standard which again has nothing to do with KR standards bc KR have it very simple lol: is it 19+? Good. Then only > 19 years old can read it.
Is it not 19+? Even better. All people under 19+ can read it.
End.
SPOILER END
I think out of all the 3 seasons, I think S3 was the one I liked best maybe because I am biased towards resolutions.
I liked the author’s approach in this season: unlike what some may say, the author is not “ending” the story in a hurried manner; she is allowing the characters to naturally live the consequences of their past. Sometimes, real life does not have exciting twists or spectacular revelations right away. There are times that need to be taken slowly, and it is precisely in that slowness that lies the true beauty of the mature love that Cirrus and Skylar are cultivating.
The fact that some readers focus only on what has not been explored, without considering the growth and evolution of the characters, reflects a disconnect with the direction that the author has given the story.
Instead of looking for unnecessary conflict, the author is allowing her characters to live love in a realistic and uncontrived way.
Now some words about the characters: lost in the cloud was made to expand Cirrus’ roots as per the author’s words and that has been reflected all throughout 3 seasons. He’s the cloud after all.
But Cirrus couldn’t have made it without his co-protagonist who is Skylar and I liked to see more in depth Skylar’s flaws as well which were underlined in ch 100-102 when he had that argument with Cirrus hurting him with words, while Cirrus in S1 was more psychologically violent.
After that we slowly saw how they approached their post fight and starting to mend things.
I also liked the tiny bits I saw from Chanil and Ri-In and especially ch 128 which has not come out in English yet was so heartwarming.
I don’t feel like there are many questions left answered bc as far as the protagonists are concerned all the important things were answered and as far as the secondary characters the author likes giving clues about them not fully explaining everything and I find it quite refreshing.
Looking forward to the extras/side stories after a long break from the author.
Thank you for your review!!! Paskim already stated that they planned how LITC will end from the start, and she planned to stick to it. The ending felt rushed to others but to me it was natural for me, not all problems will naturally solve in self through tremendous things, sometimes it's simple. I love LITC and I look forward to paskim's future works as well

This is not yaoi. Please remove that tag.
Fujimoto disagrees with you
Fujimoto didn’t say yaoi either lol he just recommended the story one of his assistant’s did. Maybe u are confused with another assistant of his who actually did a BL lmao
Fujimoto is very famous for reading yaoi! And also I really think that this manga is yaoi any site has the tag, also they don't need to fuck like rabbits for it to be about homosexual men.
I beg to differ. As far as this manga goes this is not yaoi. Please look for official sources and u shall see it’s not tagged as “yaoi” or better said yet “BL” lol
I guess you're right :p Sorry for being mean. I guess it's just gaybaiting or smth. Anywayss it's a good read.
Let's stop with the "gaybait." Just because something is gay doesn’t mean it's automatically a BL story. HGSN suffered the same.
But it’s not gay lol I honestly don’t know what words to use anymore to make u understand that this story is not yaoi/gay. Even the author herself tweeted about it saying it won’t be any yaoi XD I rest my case.
It's not yaoi or bl genre but I think it's still queer coded manga, just look at the mc lol
I wouldn’t describe it queer coded at all XD
