Ch 125 was a masterpiece of a chapter and the kiss during the first snowfall which is believed to make the couple stay together forever in Korean superstitions is chef kiss
Spoiler...
Yeah it was so cool! I really like the idea of the window glass between them as if it was the physical way to reflect the situation in their relationship !
The way Cirrus was outside in the cold as a parallelism of what his side feel right now and how Skylar is "stuck" inside the room as if it was a reminder of himself before going after Cirrus that-is-to-say trapped inside his inner walls to protect him and his family before going after Cirrus.
The way Skylar is finally in terms with himself and cross the line to be the one who initiate a kiss!!!! OH MY GOSH !!! Perfect I would say!
However I still feel conflicted because they are so destructive when they are together... It feels like the worst part in themselves emerge when they're together ! Thus it doesn't feel right... Idk...
I actually feel each other can learn from the other and they can bring out the BEST actually from them. Skylar’s development is actually thanks to Cirrus, while Cirrus’ development is thanks to Skylar. They will work out fine in the long run and learn from their mistakes as they are already doing that’s basically the whole point of the story.
The author has done such a great job with Cirrus’ character (Skylar’s too for the ones who read the RAWS bc he gets his development too) truly brilliant no wonder he’s indeed the REAL “cloud” and also the ONE person who will also make Skylar give on those glasses (clue in the cover as well)
The fundamental aspects of Cirrus reveal the complexity of a character marked by pain, loyalty and the desire to be understood, nuanced by a family and emotional background that defines each of his decisions and relationships.
Below, the key elements that outline his personality and his deepest motivations are broken down:
1) Family background
From childhood, Cirrus experienced the absence of paternal love, which shaped in him a void that was difficult to cope with. This lack of affection caused him to grow up without the necessary support and backing, but he found comfort and a figure of unconditional love in his dog, Candy.
More than just a "pet," Candy became his family, his emotional refuge, and his source of comfort. Cirrus looks after her with devotion, constantly concerned about her well-being and health, especially since Candy is an older dog. This deep connection with Candy reflects Cirrus's ability to love and care, an emotional inheritance he likely received from his mother.
2) Lack of love and school bullying
The lack of love and the constant bullying he was subjected to during his growth, caused Cirrus to undergo a profound transformation, initially avoiding closeness with others, choosing to go unnoticed, but after his closeness to Chan-Il he began to create a facade that was conform to the expectations of others, in the hopes of being accepted. This pattern was cemented in his relationship with Chan-Il, his first FRIEND, whom he began to imitate, emulating his behavior and mannerisms until he became someone everyone could superficially appreciate. This arose as a defense against a world that was hostile and lacking in empathy.
3) Loyalty
Despite his hardships, Cirrus has proven to be unconditionally loyal to those who have earned his respect and genuine affection. He was loyal to Chan-Il, who defended him and included him in his social circle. He has also been open with his childhood friend, Ri-In, who knows about his past and some of the adversities he has gone through, showing her his unmasked side. This loyalty extends to Skylar, who has come to know both his vulnerable and complex sides, reaffirming Cirrus's willingness to give his trust when someone reciprocates with genuine kindness.
4) Protective towards his loved ones
Cirrus's protective instinct is a reflection of his capacity for love. Just as he cares for Candy, he has shown the same level of dedication to Skylar. His care for Skylar translates into concrete actions, such as when he protected him from Dongsik or when he took the blame for the incident at the store, preventing Skylar from being implicated.
By taking full blame, he demonstrated how far he is willing to go to safeguard the well-being of those he loves, despite the consequences this might bring.
5) Non-violent
Cirrus is a sensitive character who tries not to opt for physical violence. Despite his desire to avoid it, in extreme situations he has lost control and reacted negatively. The first incident occurred in elementary school with a classmate who made fun of him for not having a mother, then with his stepmother who, upon discovering that she and his father had invaded his personal space, Cirrus, in an act of rage, confronted her. Later, he repeated an episode of violence with Dongsik. These events reflect how, when he feels hurt or pushed to the limit, he loses control and goes overboard, a marked contrast with Skylar, who is impulsive by nature and does not always measure the consequences of his actions.
6) Cirrus is open with his feelings
Unlike Skylar, Cirrus isn't afraid to show some of his emotions in his relationship with Skylar, whom he has always expressed how much he loves him. Throughout their relationship, he has insisted that Skylar be honest with his own feelings. For example, at one point when Skylar feared others would see them together, Cirrus confronts him afterward, seeking not only his approval but reassurance that his love is reciprocated. He expresses his need for physical affection, revealing his vulnerability and his desire to be recognized by his beloved, despite the social consequences this might have.
These points outline Cirrus as a deeply human character, with a mix of strengths and weaknesses that intertwine with his past and present experiences.
Cirrus is, ultimately, a character with multiple layers, each of which reveals a mix of sensitivity, pain, protection and deep LOVE!!
Chapeau to Paskim!
For the people who read the RAW 123 it shows how friendship is another important aspect in Cirrus’ life (mostly talking to those people who cannot see further than their precious main couple Cirrus/Skylar and acting like narrow-minded wackos).
Thinking negatively and not giving the possibility that Chan-Il and Ri-In can contribute positively to the resolution of the conflict between Cirrus and Skylar or that their roles are superficial, underestimates the author's effort to give them a central purpose in the plot.
Chan-il has a profound relevance in the construction of Cirrus' social mask. From their first meeting, Chan-il was someone who generated a sense of belonging in Cirrus to be able to adapt to the circumstances that surrounded him, but not only that, he also showed him sincere friendship and protection, as seen in his intervention when he defended Cirrus from bad comments and intervening when Cirrus' father was assaulting him in front of the school gates.
Beyond recent misunderstandings, Chan-il always showed genuine concern, especially when he witnessed those painful episodes in Cirrus' life. This act of support created a special bond that surpassed simple companionship; it was a show of protection and a way for Chan-il to try to ease Cirrus' emotional burden in his attempt to talk to him who, instead, walked away out of shame, feeling vulnerable before the person he admired the most.
It is true that Chan-il confronted Cirrus impulsively, and that discussion may have disappointed some readers. However, this moment of tension between them shows the authenticity of their bonds and Chan-il’s desire to clarify a situation he perceived as ambiguous. His recent actions of wanting to know more about Cirrus and remedy the situation for the way he acted are motivated by sincere regret. This reflects his interest in making amends and regaining the closeness he had with Cirrus, and shows the depth of their friendship beyond a simple passing reaction.
Ri-In, on the other hand, represents someone with whom Cirrus does not need to hide his true personality. She is one of the few people who allows him to show his vulnerability and offers him a friendship without judgment. Cirrus' relationship with Ri-In grants him a certain authenticity, giving him the space to be himself without the pressure of maintaining the mask he wears with others.
Although Ri-In was upset when Cirrus opened up and revealed hidden aspects of his relationship with Skylar that indirectly involved her, her reaction has an emotional basis!! Her anger is a response to feeling used, but this also highlights the complexity of her character and the importance of her friendship with Cirrus, as she was hurt that her childhood friend did not give greater consideration to her feelings!
Seriously hope more people actually read this story with their brain ON
.
This comment is after I read Ch 122 and I am so happy about the direction of this story. The author is doing amazing with BOTH Cirrus and Skylar.
I am up with the raws and at present it’s Skylar who also suffered and realised his mistakes and that he hurt Cirrus too and is going after him.
At the beginning of S3 Cirrus in the end had to be sincere to Skylar and yessome of his lies bit him in the ass but that’s all part of his GROWING since Cirrus is the PROTAGONIST of this story. LITC was made for HIM. No wonder he’s the author’s favourite character (and mine too).
LITC is going to have a happy ending and most importantly showing how two boys can actually heal TOGETHER and be together through thick and thin. Too many times I have seen KR BLs with the fucked up “time skip” fixes it all lmao so I am happy that this time all the problems will be tackled in the PRESENT.
I am really rooting for them both and to make up!

I love how LITC isn’t 24/7 focused on the m/m ship and gives room to other characters as well especially other couples. I love Chanil/Rin they are good friends, teens as well but at core good! I hope Cirrus can make up with them soon.
