when an author throws an idea explicitly to the reader is because that idea is not the main point. Here doesn't matter that he has an inferiority complex, what's more he even recognizes it. The point is to show that his own values about himself are poor, because society and loneliness can harm a person that much even when that person was on the other side. So I think the author made it really good, you just didn't understand it that way or simply doesn't like her style.

okey ppl of norms, let me help u make sense out of this, so energy, it's there in our body, can be coming from food ,being hit, and many other ways, energy can be changed to many other forms, chemical energy from fat turns to heat and such, and gets out from our body to the air around us, the place in our bodies that has the most head is , yes our asshole, if u leave a chicken egg there for sometime, it'll be cooked, yes it's true and science, this is why thus dude is examining the anus cuz it has the most potential to turn heat energy to electricity, now we have to get to know what sorta cells in our body that can help this process, nerve cells, it's not the exact process but u get it by now, lastly, how is it that his father said he died when his heart stopped and how was he saved by electricity, i'm not sure but i saw it like this, he was hit and his body stored the electricity but couldn't handle it *think of his small frame as a child as well* the heart stopped and thus there were no way the other body parts can turn electricity to anther form of energy and considering well, the cells starts dying when the heart stops bumping blood to them, now guess what cell can work out with electricity ? yes nerve cells that r basically everywhere, this is where the fiction starts, the remaining blood in the nerve cells allows them to send all the energy to the subconscious parts of the brain and thus the heart can work again, it should have stopped after the body process all the electric energy but i guess the subconscious parts of the brain decided that this is the new way to get the heart to move not just blood and a big part of what he eats is made to make electricity and heat , now since his body is back to normal except the new electricity factory that he does not need anymore is still in work, we find him releasing electricity more than normal from well, his anus and other heated placed in his body and not only physically but also when he felt embarrassed *our body heat goes up when embarrassed, more blood goes to all sorta places ,shown easily in the cheeks* from being praised by this weird person who helped his dad accepts his *ugly* parts, this aside , i still consider their first with the fingers so unpleasing and an assault case but the mc does not give a shit and just want things more gently ...
