Yes I understand that. I think maybe it's lost in translation or straight up a change in the adaptation, since she clearly set things up in the novel so Freya would bring everyone at the right time, so Ruby in her head being surprisef at Freya "saving her" is weird.

I know they need to cut corners to adapt the novel so many character moments were cut out to make things much simplier and faster, but the climax? This was a risky desicion that honestly was not worth it. What a let down. Incredible art though, just dropped the ball in terms of working with the material of the story.
Yeahh, like i appreciate the manhwa but the novel gives a different feeling. They removed some parts makes that scene so wholesome to the point of me, crying and getting goosebumps because it was so good
Yeah, specially the nuanced between Elenia and Ruby was very short in the comic. And a lot with Izek too. Still lovely, and I would never have read the novel had I not found the comic first so I'm very thankfull.
