First chapters really be trickery, rape, filmed rape, borderline extortion, entrapment into the porn industry, sexual assault when sleeping and gaslighting the fuck out of a victimized, naive and penniless suburban man. Wtf. Like, I know that we can read fucked up things, but at least they're self-aware most of the time. I 100% agree with you. I lost the patience to read the entirety of it because I know they’re gonna have some happy ending and completely gloss over the fact that the guy was raped and guilt-tripped. Don’t get me wrong, I know that this is fiction and all, but I can’t enjoy a story that kinda romanticizes rape

Wow the pacing of this comic is wild in a bad sense. Everything feels like it's been about 2 weeks since meeting yet it's probably been 2 months or more, and the time is not even felt in events that happen hours apart. Makes everyone disoriented, so hopefully the author gets better with practice because damn it's getting tedious to read.

Kinda ranting, I really like this sort of dynamics in fiction, when you know the couple is end game, but in real life it's a complete emotional fuck up. Don't hurt your friends like this if you notice they're crushing on you if you're not interested, and if you notice a friend that you're crushing on continously doing this to you and you confront them and they just say "it's because is funny," distance yourself because sooner or later they will only see you as foolishly entertainment, not as a friend. Value yourself and you heart, the closets a person is to you, the more hurt they can cause.

Wtf is up with the prolongue? I'm so confused with Jack's attitude. He seems like a gentle kid, and Dora is sweet and diligent and they treat each other well. I honestly thought of dropping it just because of the prologue, it's like an omen of how much shit is going to happen.
The Jack of the prologue is all like "Hell hath no fury like A GUY scorned," I think. He's bitter at how she only seems to care about his mother and have eyes only for her, bending over backwards to win her affection, while she never lets *him* (the one bending over backwards for HER) get any piece of her heart.
He was red flag now he's the whole red cavalry. Dude is nasty possessive, sociopathic and without a hint of romance.
