I know Chance is fucked up all through already but I still cannot come to hate him. He had a happy life with good friends that helped each other through their hardest times, he was happy and was gonna marry a lovely and supporting woman.
And for a man not being able to give up on his crush, Chance's whole life became a tragedy with his friends being non-existant, him being uncapable of loving his past lover who then killed herself, his family being connected only by a thin line of pity and disgust, his career not even taking off, and now his one and only person of affection who he was MADE to love and be attracted to by fucking magic, who he took care for for a decade of coma, who is also the main reason for any of the mess happening, basically saying "get over it, I cannot love you now".
If I was Chance I wouldn't have raped, I would've homocide-suicided already. He is the character I find saddest in all the story next to the sister who killed herself.
It's a little unsettling how they cartoonized Rubia's face but not the other characters' that much. Hopefully it'll be more consistant throughout the season!
