It used to be the case that Koreans were considered one year old at birth because they counted the time from conception, but they recinded that law a couple of years ago so its no longer the case

It makes me laugh how everyone is hating on WooYeon but forgetting he's a literal diagnosed psychopath. He wasn't treated, not properly, he was just put in a 'mental hospital' where rich people put their problematic family members. He has no concept of love, consent, everything in his life is an act, because that's all he's ever known. His parents were scared of him and never showed him love, he was institutionalised in a shitty mental hospital that never properly treated him, he has no personal experience or understanding of love, so he doesn't understand what he's been feeling for Inseob. All he knows is that he wants to have and possess him, as thats all he can grasp at this stage.
Also I want to point out that if WooYeon had received proper treatment, he'd probably be living in society well. Most psychopaths these days with proper psychiatric care manage to live decent lives without needing to be institutionalised.
