Everyone complaining about Sehyuk's actions in the side stories and I don't understand. There was nothing in his behaviour previously that showed he would be anything else but this. Sehyuk is not kind, he is not compassionate, he is not sweet. He wants Haemin, and he will have Haemin. And Haemin knows all about what Sehyuk is like and still wants to be with him.

The thing is it's not like it's going to be instant. With his trauma, it's going to be a long road before there'd be true character growth, and with Sehyuks character he'd want to make Haemin his as soon as possible as something to tie him to him closer. Any character growth in such a short period, since they only just started dating, would be completely superficial right now.

I absolutely love this. A red flag violent gangster, but with the one he loves, he's nothing but a soft green fucking forest puppy dog. Sign me the fuck up, if Sawol didn't want him I'd gladly take him. And I'm 90% sure that the tattoo on Sawol's neck was where his fated partners name was, and his adoptive father tattooed it over in the hope he'd be free for whatever reason.
You all need to remember that he is a literal psychopath. He doesn't understand love. He doesn't understand affection. All he knows is how his parents treated him like a monster and hid him away. Yes it was in a psychiatric hospital but it seems like the kind where wealthy families lock up their family members when they're an embarrassment instead of a place to get actual help. Most psychopaths are able to live proper lives if they're given proper treatment and stick to it.
My literal thoughts.
i agree so much idk why people expect mentally sane decisions from him
Exactly!! But the only thing I get mad is that why he's not being treated with good doctors?? He's always lonely cause he doesn't know how to deal with others
Manhwas and kdramas tend to show the elite/wealthy locking up their "troublesome" relatives in psychiatric hospitals, but they're not really, theyre just places for the wealthy to hide family members who could cause embarrasment or issues with their public image. It seems like that's what happened to him, if I remember correctly. Getting him treated properly would mean records of his condition, which would mean embarrassment for his father if it was ever leaked.
Psychopaths still know right from wrong on a legal and moral level like killing bad, raping bad, pedophile bad, etc. ML doesnt seem to have that.
Only if they're taught. Psychopaths have no moral compass, they don't understand those things are wrong. He would've learnt later from media like news, movies, books etc, but without a psychologist explaining and guiding them on why it's wrong and why he shouldn't do them in a way he understands (usually through assessments by psychologists, this can take years to figure out what works), he wouldn't truly understand the *why*
Its a stigma for most asians to seek doctor help for mental issues. It brings shame to the family and must be done in the hush hush or it's excused as some supernatural thing. As society advances we are going away from that but the older generation do still retain these beliefs.
Also to point out you're statement. He has a rare disorder that prevents him from feeling emotions so he can't really feel things that others feel that's why he is the way he is.
