Because it's thing between uploaders. You cannot upload over someone of they said they'll upload. And if you still wanna for whatever reason, you gotta ask! That's how it is! But if you still be wanna rude anyways have your way! :)

Now that is dumb what you said is... Notices are often ways to tell that they'll upload something and also to tell the other uploaders that they'll do it! Honestly it's just because of them that we do get to read them for free anyways so idk why people are so entitled enough to complain?? If They didn't someone else will? Lol they already upload so much yet if you / someone wanted to upload it so badly you have to ask them! It's just a basic thing. It doesn't mean they own them but since they said they will then you should ask. I don't think there's anything wrong with notices that only stop someone from uploading wrong things/ wrong ways and double updating!

Now that's a silly take! ╮(￣▽￣)╭ Notices simply stop others to upload bad quality as well as to know them there's someone who will. So there won't be any confusion between them and we don't get many duplicates either. Also there are many uploaders almost all who do this so calling out this uploader only for this would be disrespectful to them plus what's wrong with notices we get to know that we'll get them is a good feeling

"Someone did it because you didn't do it" it's just an uploader's thing. You see the notice meaning an uploader will update more future chapters and don't want anyone to interfere. And complaining on a free site is just stupid. You cant be complaining about the uploader's work. They do their best to give good quality chapters and they have their own lives too. While you, who reads freely wants to get an update quickly.

i think it might help uploaders not waste time and money on stories that are already being uploaded by someone else, most manga/hwa/hua cost money to get. it's frustrating when you spend all that time cleaning, redrawing, and translating a story just for it to go unacknowledged because you can't share it to people where you usually do.

lmao just have the decency to inform an uploader if you're gonna upload over them. Because it takes time, money and effort to upload these stuff. Isn't that common sense to atleast inform ? Because they have committed to it, perhaps continually working on it for a long period of time... and perhaps put in lots of hours to do a chapter and then someone uploads it first . Whoever did it also knows this uploader has been working hard and continually on it and knows how much it takes to do that, so yea, it's rude.

I'm pretty sure no one is entitled or obligation to feel sympathetic of someone that committed to translating a manga. It's a matter of being polite sure but to be frank they own them anything and are basically strangers. There's no reason to be buddy buddy or being polite to the other as if they're coworkers that have to be in good terms nv they work in the same company. The same way people who illegal translate does it while an official publishing company translate the same serie and viceversa.

Yes, well, it's clearly an unspoken, or really a spoken, courtesy between translators. But it cannot be controlled, so there are people who are willing to disregard other's time and effort. Sure, if something hasn't been updated for months that's different imo.. but to dump on top of someone who has faithfully been updating is rude and selfish imo.
