I remember reading these kind of gender bender mangas years ago and I always wondered the same xD you started liking somebody as a boy, you discover is a girl... So what? You know that you like the person, that's it. But japaneses always tend to make you understand he liked her cause it was a "her", not because she was dressed as a boy.
