i'm just thinking out loud. there's that thing you call sociopathic mirroring or something, where the socipath shows themselves to be like what you want them to be like, to make you like them and trust them more. maybe the mc (forgot the namesss heck) unconciously wanted to rely on someone because he has to keep stuff in order at home. and that's why that asshole does things like giving advice and going out drinking etc. somehow i also had this feeling when they were talking about their mothers, but aren't they just too alike? of course i can be imagining things, but... well, all of this doesn't have any meaning if i'm wrong and he's a psychopath instead, because it's easy to mistake one for another, and i'm also kinda stoopid... *sob*
