yes but no because even back then they had "condoms" it just wasn't rubber like the ones today. in old times they would use beasts (pig for example) intestines to comver/seal/act as a condom to prevent sperm from leaking out. imagine a hot dog but the hot dog is a penis (they are shaped the way they are is cause they use intestines to make them) alone with any other type of sausage in that shape like brahtwurst or salami for exampwl
