I just read Falling Star (where this spin-off originated from) and I’m glad we’re seeing more of Yousuke’s personality now. He has this calmer vibe (?) here compared to when he was in Falling Star, he’s still kinda wild but a tad different from the first book. Maybe we’re just seeing a different side of him compared to when he’s around Maki.
