We always blame the mistress in such scenarios. But the ML and his wife are GUILTY in this story. They don't deserve an ounce of sympathy. Atleast from my side. They both know what they were doing and they had the upper hand considering they are both in position of Power. The POWER DYNAMIC is completely off.

The ML took advantage of the FL, knowing that he took a mistress to irk the wife & to make her divorce him. The least he could do was take responsibility to make sure that atleast the female lead was SAFE AND PROTECTED under him which he failed terribly. The wife burned her, tortured, poisoned her, not because she love her husband, or cause she was bothered by their affair. But because the FL was getting more ATTENTION! I don't & will never condone cheating but the ML CHEATING is secondary in this story considering it was normal to have mistresses or concubines. And the WIFE is not a saint either she blackmailed the ML to marry her. Bitch ass!

Let's be honest the ML and wife are the ones to BLAME, not the other way around. Toying, using and torturing the female lead to have their way in their miserable power struggle. TRASHES thar deserve each other! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ The only thing the FL did was fall in love with the ass. She is the lesser evil to me. Go take revenge gurl... Why are you even helping the ML again... Oh!! Waitttt a min... That's cause she's a mere slave/dancer/maid who has not right to refuse.

Spoiler : Also, according to the POV of FL, chapters till 26, in the past life the ML did things to make the FL misunderstand. He wasn't upfront about ANYTHING or how he was just using her to keep appearances or just using her to make his wife divorce him. FL had an impression that ml was in love with her too (maybe he had feelings but he ignored her) & she misinterpreted the meaning behind everything he did because she didn't know she was being used.

Well, they're both not wrong but I guess I sympathize with the seme more rn because when he said that uke led him on. It did lowkey kinda felt that way. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ Why kiss him and disappear instead of communicating the fears that he has and working or figuring things out. But I'll just give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it isn't easy for them.

In the starting, I really liked this story. But now idk... It DIED down on me. Maybe it was the manipulative seme, the distressed uke who doesn't have a backbone, the Uke's annoying mother or this plot in general.

In the beginning, I didn't like how clueless the seme's younger brother (Jiseok) was or how he was unknowingly making the uke suffer. Jiseok was oblivious. but now... I just lowkey feel some type of way or sorry for him. Like how he literally was manipulated along with everyone in the story by his own brother. *sighs* Kinda leaves a sour aftertaste. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ Nvm, It's just another typical story. I just expected more I guess.
