i think the ML (arwin) fell for latte bc she was probably one of the first ppl to treat him like a normal person? plus, with those types of characters, he probably fell for latte bc of her disinterest in pursuing Arwin romantically lol.
also ibeline is very sketch.. i feel like she knows that shes in a novel and is mad at latte for taking away one of the love interests (arwin),* but thats my own little theory haha (⌒▽⌒)
In the beginning I thought the Duke would be the ML based on their enemy (not really enemy but you get the gist) relationship after their fighting. I can def see him liking Latte. But I do like Arwin a lot lol. He's like a little boy in grade school who doesn't know how to show his affection outside of teasing (including mean teasing). Normally I don't like the yandere-esque characters. The dance scene in the sky reminded me of Howl's Moving Castle and I'm here for it. Though no one can beat Howl (sorry Arwin I love you but he's a whole nother level).
I'm on the fence about Ibelin because like she seemed really sweet until lately and now it seems like she's almost jealous? I'm unsure of whether it's because Arwin is liking Latte way more than her or because Latte is spending more time with Arwin and not hanging with her as much. I feel like it could be either or.
