Exactly!! It just feels lazy and useless. The scene serves no narrative purpose. We already knew how Ryohei felt about Mako and that he was an asshole, a cheater, and would sexually assault Mako when he felt angry or bored. This scene provided absolutely nothing new and took away from what could have been a very dramatic and entertaining climax in the story where the affairs are revealed and Ryohei gets what’s coming to him
Lowkey idek if I agree Mako is an M. I feel like the men in his life just claim that as an excuse to assault him and treat him roughly. It honestly seems like he is just a way too forgiving, and submissive person who is used to his partners treating him like crap and blaming himself for it.
If this is going in the direction I think it is of each of the 3 being not only parts of Henry’s body but different sides of him that make Victor relive his relationship and understand who Henry was. I know this is a lot to expect of a random yaoi but it would be kinda brilliant if Victor’s interactions and dynamics with the 3 guys are referencing and hinting at what his relationship with Henry was really like. I already see how this could be the case. Head is scary, mysterious, and calculating…his expressions are literally cloaked in darkness. Perhaps Victor could never understand what was on Henry’s mind so that part of him was something scary and unknowable. Heart is all affection and support but Victor doesn’t trust him and takes him for granted. Maybe Victor took Henry’s feelings for granted, didn’t trust in them, or even used them against him. And Dick is a total manwhore free-spirit who sleeps with everyone and wants to escape Victor. I feel like we already see how that could apply to who Henry was.
Honestly I love this theory. This would to me clear up some things ppl have brought up in the comments about Henry. I didnt get how ppl were saying he's in love with mc but he used to f around with others while being with mc it was confusing. But that would be an amazing way to take this I hope this is the theory that turns out to be true !!!!

Im not exactly saying he wasn’t but also everything we are seeing is Victors interpretation of the situation through the lens of grief. It’s possible Henry is someone who is poly or just didn’t want to be tied down even if he loved Victor and saw him as his main partner. We don’t exactly know what their relationship parameters were or if they even had an official relationship tbh. Or maybe he did cheat! Who knows!

I don’t totally understand why Victor kinda treats Heart like shit but I have theories…I don’t think it is just the superficiality of Heart not looking like Henry and looking scary. I honestly think it’s deeper than that. For one, Heart isn’t all of who Henry is: his mind is the other half, so it doesn’t make sense why Victor doesn’t see Heart as fully Henry. More keeps getting revealed about who Henry was, his relationship with Victor, and how Henry died. I think this is building to a reveal that will explain why Victor is so cold and distant with Heart. Perhaps he takes Heart for granted and doesn’t trust him because he didn’t trust Henry’s feelings and didn’t believe he loved him? Or because he’s been down this road and knows for a fact Henry doesn’t love him? Maybe he doesn’t see Heart as Henry because he’s nothing like how Henry actually was? I’m not sure about the whole Henry having other partners thing tho…will have to wait and see
