I’ve been reading this story since it was first translated and for a while I was unsure about reading the mature version since I’m not huge on smut. However, I can say now that the story feels MUCH more fleshed out in the mature version! Specifically, Wolfgang and Shin’s relationship and character arcs make a lot more sense with the mature scenes. Firstly, they do talk during s*x and in some scenes it’s important. Secondly, their love and relationship is much more clearly mutual as Shin initiates things and reciprocates in a way he doesn’t a lot of the time in the censored version. Lastly, you see more of Shin’s struggle to take breaks and be kind to himself and how Wolfgang pushes him to let go and express his feelings. Overall, I’d say worth the read!
One warning tho: They get a little freaky sometimes. Nothing too crazy and nothing morally questionable (although Wolfgang does push shin quite far a couple times).

Some of yall r confused about why Otto lied about the baby being another man’s to the emperor so ima explain. The emperor is expected to take a wife of high standing and have children. While the current church is not against homosexuality, not everyone agrees with that and has different interpretations of the religion. Additionally, the emperor and Otto conceived a child out of wedlock. Soooo while misunderstanding plots r stupid and annoying and overdone, Otto’s actions aren’t that strange. He clearly is lying and saying whatever he has to to get the Emperor to move on and follow the path of a traditional family. Considering the fact that he is the pope and passionate about government, religion, etc. plus undervalues himself, it makes why he’s lie

Otto has his own status of being a pope and being from a family that directly opposes the royal family's since the country's founding too. He got kidnapped cause the guy thought being gay was against their shared religion, despite the original religion saying two MEN created everything and both were attracted to each other(the mutual part could be debated). Now imagine coming out to the general public that mpreg is not a myth, and the pope of the opposing royalty faction is pregnant with the kings child out of wedlock.

As individuals I’m not huge on the characters, but I really enjoy their dynamic. In a sea of misunderstanding plots due to a character with commitment issues, I love two blunt ass communicators. Like bro is so avoidant attachement style and the other guy is just blunt self-assured pushing forward and calling his ass out

I know I’m suppose to see Ukano being so manipulative as a red flag but I can’t help but love a diva with a plan and goal who gets shit done. Like okay mayyyybbbee he is morally questionable at times but he’s crafty and knows how to handle shit. And he also is so unserious about it, like never manipulates Sachio into doing things he doesn’t want only silly little things like the marriage name change which was just funny
