this series can be hard to read sometimes. I just get so tired of the bad guys ALWAYS having the upper hand and the ones we're rooting for just barely scraping by the skin of their teeth all the time no matter how prepared or leveled up they get. It's like they just can't ever catch a break and it's exhausting.
he kept the weird sphere statue but tossed the figurine of the fairy queen back in the fire? I really don't get why he's always so mean and dismissive of her.
seeing him tease HER like that is absolutely delicious. and probably only possible because he's kinda out of it due to heat stroke so all his overthinking isn't getting in the way lol
funny how he notices First that all his whatever energies have recovered, Second that he's naked, and Third that the location is freezing... in that order.. but not that his hair has gone from "a bit shaggy" to "Sepharoth". maybe it wasn't just a "quick nap" and he Rip Van Winkled it. lol
I get the feeling that the "adventurer" that spilled the beans on MC for a reward might, in fact, be that donkey (bunny?) eared receptionist trying to play both sides... since we know how utterly shameless and greedy she is...
he's so creepy. constantly telling everyone that they are engaged even though she constantly rejects him and just doing whatever the eff he wants w/o a care for her consent or feelings. I find myself wanting to see her light him up or threaten to burn his junk off. I REALLY hope that this stalker bs isn't rewarded at some point where she finds she really has feelings for him or some bullshit.
