I really don't like stories where one of them is an older man. Age gaps are the bane of my existence
It seemed pretty insignificant to me. Neither of their ages is ever mentioned and "he looks too young to be his father" meaning the age gap can't be that humongous. They're also both fully working adults.
But I guess everyone has different limits. I also hate age gaps, but if the younger one is older than college or highschool age, I don't mind that much. Unless the difference is like 20 years

It's lowkey nostalgic. In older BL, the characters just didn't resemble real people at all and I guess that made things like rape and sexual aggression easier to look past. Still don't like it myself but I can maybe see why fujoshi were okay with it
