I totally think that because Bum is so far gone and too deep into his unhealthy obsession with Sangwoo i could completely end up seeing him ending up killing Sangwoo at the end of this manwha out of jealousy. When the depression hits him when he realize Sangwoo will never really be his and he is mere a replacement for his mother.
Just a thought.

So once in the past I tried to read it, but i'm tired of the typical trope where the male lead lost a girlfriend and the way he reacts to it is:
'My life is ruined and I refuse to ever love anyone again and because something bad happened to me i from now on will treat everyone around me like dirt, especially the MC who is only kind to me for no good reason whatsoever'
I don't know if he lost his girlfriend, but i heard rumors he did.
Does the male lead improves throughout the manga?

tbh I skipped a lot of the story too so I dont know about his tragic past BUT he's become really sweet!! He doesnt act like that. Its still a slow burn though, bc of rivals and blah blah. and I get what you mean, I cant stand those tropes either. anyway, when I get tired of a shoujo I just read the most recent chapter and see if I like whats happening and go backwards from there xD its crazy when I skip 30 chapters and im like "... nothings changed, ANOTHER love rival....." LOL
I feel the scene where Kurumi donates her blood to save Hakuron, were Hakuron being so lusty for her after the split. I felt it was pretty bizarre how he went as far as to bite his own arm to 'feel' her.
I'm sorry, but this is not a vampire romance manga xD
