Ive been reading the novel in parallel to this, and to be honest i feel like the mc got softened a bit?, bc in the novel he comes off as more doubled faced and his disgust for taesan is more notorious in the reading.
maybe because the novel describes his thoughts w bigger detail.
also something they didnt mention is how at first when yohan and junwoo became friends, mc was jealous, but later he didnt mind bc yohan seemed to not like junwoo that much? lol so basically mc is wary of everyone who wants to get close to junwoo, really obsessive

I been thinking abt why would MC be in love w such a huge trash like his friend, and after seeing the first chapters and some of the raws it seems MC has low selfsteem?, Persons w low selfsteem tend to enter abusive relationships a lot more, because they see themselves as undeserving. He also doesnt have friends to confide and hes prolly insolated.
His friend has keep him around his finger showing warm and sweetness sometimes. Manipulating him just to make him feel a bittt special. Afterwards he mistreats him bc obviously it gives him a high power trip as someone with that much of an inferiority complex.
