I been thinking abt why would MC be in love w such a huge trash like his friend, and after seeing the first chapters and some of the raws it seems MC has low selfsteem?, Persons w low selfsteem tend to enter abusive relationships a lot more, because they see themselves as undeserving. He also doesnt have friends to confide and hes prolly insolated.
His friend has keep him around his finger showing warm and sweetness sometimes. Manipulating him just to make him feel a bittt special. Afterwards he mistreats him bc obviously it gives him a high power trip as someone with that much of an inferiority complex.
