They are weapons of mass destruction. You can take out an entire Army just by batting his eyes with a smile. There are legends that his eye Sparkles can turn into ninja stars and cut through a man like a fire knife through butter.
All kidding aside, it's just because his eyes are definitely entrancing. But let's take baby steps. Lily is still very shy. She's had to go and get to the point, but she still shy. Reason why she isn't shy around Honggu is because she knew him forever, and used to his antics.
I think sunglasses might help her get to know him better and look at his other features. He has a great smile, but he also has great opinions. He's open-hearted and sensitive and sweet. She wants to protect him. Once she gets used to his presence, she'll start feeling comfortable and be able to look him in the sparkly eyes.
He's sort of like an adorable sweet Cyclops from X-Men. Cyclops wears sunglasses, but that doesn't stop Jean Grey from falling in love with him.

It's perhaps a good theory, but by the time Lily is willing (if ever) to look Kiyu directly in the eye, he will be an emotional, jealous wreck and will probably given up on having the level of friendship and camaraderie she shares with Honggu. And by that time, Honggu will have likely fallen in love with Lily (who wouldn't) and be doing his best to edge Kiyu out of the picture.
Ok so let's get this straight. We all know that Lucas basically went back in time I think we can generally agree that the theory that's pretty strong right now is that he made a wish, but the wish didn't come out the way he wanted. My personal theory? Is that he made a wish but it doesn't give you the wish you want, it gives you the which you need. That is why he went back in time and woke up at the same time the aunt did.
However, she is not the only one that is so far where and what's going to happen in the story. She is just the only one who Came From Another World. The other characters, like the mother of the male lead, also went back in time. She has that ability, and that kind of magic runs in her blood line. She knows what happens to her son and that's why she reacts when she hears that he's going to go to battle. She does not want to lose her son again.
That is why they aren't is acting as usual, from the original story. She realized that being cold and stuck up and treating the boy indifferently, leads to tragedy and she wants to change that and she also realized how much she cared after she had lost them and wants to protect them this time.
Lucas also remembers the story and he knows he has to go through all these events again. However, the aunt is acting completely out of character. The aunt is the only one that's making everyone go out of whack. And I am here for it.
However that's just a theory, manga Theory...

I actually have a theory about Judith.
I actually think she is the original Aunt.
I think that since she died years before Luca made the wish, her soul had already reincarnated into "our world" as a form of lesson for her past sins. She (her soul) learned and grew out of her past life.
When Luca made the wish to be sent back in time to be with his Aunt (his true family), the wish found her soul and dragged it back as per the wish maker's will.
So she is still the original Judith, just renewed or matured as the reincarnation intended.
I'm sure if this theory is right then we'll be able to see her remember it or realize it later on in the story (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
