They are weapons of mass destruction. You can take out an entire Army just by batting his eyes with a smile. There are legends that his eye Sparkles can turn into ninja stars and cut through a man like a fire knife through butter.
All kidding aside, it's just because his eyes are definitely entrancing. But let's take baby steps. Lily is still very shy. She's had to go and get to the point, but she still shy. Reason why she isn't shy around Honggu is because she knew him forever, and used to his antics.
I think sunglasses might help her get to know him better and look at his other features. He has a great smile, but he also has great opinions. He's open-hearted and sensitive and sweet. She wants to protect him. Once she gets used to his presence, she'll start feeling comfortable and be able to look him in the sparkly eyes.
He's sort of like an adorable sweet Cyclops from X-Men. Cyclops wears sunglasses, but that doesn't stop Jean Grey from falling in love with him.

It's perhaps a good theory, but by the time Lily is willing (if ever) to look Kiyu directly in the eye, he will be an emotional, jealous wreck and will probably given up on having the level of friendship and camaraderie she shares with Honggu. And by that time, Honggu will have likely fallen in love with Lily (who wouldn't) and be doing his best to edge Kiyu out of the picture.
Ok so let's get this straight. We all know that Lucas basically went back in time I think we can generally agree that the theory that's pretty strong right now is that he made a wish, but the wish didn't come out the way he wanted. My personal theory? Is that he made a wish but it doesn't give you the wish you want, it gives you the which you need. That is why he went back in time and woke up at the same time the aunt did.
However, she is not the only one that is so far where and what's going to happen in the story. She is just the only one who Came From Another World. The other characters, like the mother of the male lead, also went back in time. She has that ability, and that kind of magic runs in her blood line. She knows what happens to her son and that's why she reacts when she hears that he's going to go to battle. She does not want to lose her son again.
That is why they aren't is acting as usual, from the original story. She realized that being cold and stuck up and treating the boy indifferently, leads to tragedy and she wants to change that and she also realized how much she cared after she had lost them and wants to protect them this time.
Lucas also remembers the story and he knows he has to go through all these events again. However, the aunt is acting completely out of character. The aunt is the only one that's making everyone go out of whack. And I am here for it.
However that's just a theory, manga Theory...

I actually have a theory about Judith.
I actually think she is the original Aunt.
I think that since she died years before Luca made the wish, her soul had already reincarnated into "our world" as a form of lesson for her past sins. She (her soul) learned and grew out of her past life.
When Luca made the wish to be sent back in time to be with his Aunt (his true family), the wish found her soul and dragged it back as per the wish maker's will.
So she is still the original Judith, just renewed or matured as the reincarnation intended.
I'm sure if this theory is right then we'll be able to see her remember it or realize it later on in the story (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Hold up. Isn't everyone not getting drafted into the war? You got a Duke, who is usually not drafted to war, heading out, going to war. And yet you have Mister Wright staying behind?
What about WRIGHT? Does he have flat feet? Why isn't he going to war? Every able body person is going, so shouldn't Wright be with the other drafted soldiers?
He would be like a lieutenant or something in the war. I've read Jane Austen. Dukes didn't go unless absolutely necessary and Wright is just a Mr... so...
I am not saying that Wright is wrong. I'm not saying that he's a bad person. In fact I think he's a cool guy but I just don't get why they have a Duke going to war and he staying behind? That doesn't make any sense.

Okay, so she preferred the guy with the white hair to play the piano. But she's going to play with the guy with the pink hair. They're going to sing. Then all the sudden this chick pops up. She cant play with the white haired dude in public because it would be dangerous for both of them if their association is found out, so since she was gonna perform with purple hair dude she was reminiscing about her convo with white. Now this bitch that just came at the end, mad af since she likes the purple hair dude and thinks miss lady doesn't deserve the hype and the purple dude
Okay what Ballesac did was a jerk move. But How old is he? 10? ....did you see his face? He looks scared or remorseful. I mean, They're still little kids . It is not too late to teach him right from wrong. It's like, you got to discipline a 10 year old to learn better.... HOWEVER knowing the JERK DAD, he's going to SCREW UP and do the exact wrong thing on teaching his kid a valuable lesson in self responsibility.
This could have been an important TURNING POINT lesson to Ballesac about acting on impulse and the consequences of his action. But of course the dad is going to to do something STUPID and most likely blame the girl Tia. Which will perpetrate in the little boy, that girls are to blame for the violence that happen to them, victim blaming and this child will grow up twisted and messed up because his dad doesn't know how to raise a kid.
It really sucks this important lesson that could have changed this boy into a better person, is going to be screwed up by the dad.

Yes and he should be punished and held accountable for and also be disciplined. Like... this one time, My cousin and I got into a fight at 10 and he hit me hard with a tree branch, like a loud wack and everything. I had a huge welt on my side. His dad (my uncle) snatched me up in his arms, took me inside to my aunt, who got me balm and soothed me... my cousin looked horrified at my welt... he even felt sick... my uncle (his dad) walked up to my cousin, look down and with no baby talk, dead serious sternly spoke to him "man to man", told him that a real man never hits a woman... no matter what! He was punished, assisted in yard work under my uncle's supervision and never laid a hand on another girl, even me when we would play fight, he refused to even pretend hit me.

I agree with most of what you are saying. Maybe I misunderstood your first comment because English isn’t my strong suit. But from what I got from reading it was that it’s not the young boys fault and he shouldn’t be punished accordingly, because it’s his father fault he thinks this is okay. It sounds like you were defending or trying to justify his actions by blaming it all on his dad (which is true it’s his dads fault he thinks it’s okay to act like this) but seriously injuring her like that was his own actions.
And I absolutely agree that this boy needs to be punished, disciplined, and held responsible for his actions. And he will learn a valuable lesson from it would help him grow up to be a responsible adult.... unfortunately, because he has awful parents, he will not learn.

I'm actually rooting for them to becoming friends. I FRIEND-SHIP THEM! I want them to be great friends and get closer and do normal kid stuff. Because I love this Dynamic. Them all being friends and learning about each other and boosting each other's confidence. I want the dad to be their dad. I want this Friendship Circle to grow and for this 3 group of kids to look out for each other and be cool with each other and just be the best. I love this I love this friendship. This is so wholesome and yet it is also makes you want to cheer for them all. Lily is the best. I love that out of all three of them, if she's the glue that's bringing this friendship together.
