the plot holes in this story was way too much for me man

so yeongeun and minhyuk break up fairly quickly in the ‘new’ timeline, and yeongeun is unmarried and childless, so how does yeonwoo exist at all? the author saying dal gives yeonwoo’s existence meaning hence he can live in the past and it’s just “fantasy” is such an ass excuse, like they didn’t even try wtf

and the whole third act breakup of dal getting so anxious and insecure, he just pushes yeonwoo didn’t make any sense. i feel like the author just threw that in to give it some angst and add more drama and meaning to the story, bc it really wasn’t necessary if i’m being honest

and honestly, i expected yeongeun to get together w that other girl at the start. they just scream girlfriends to me tbh as the story progressed, i quickly realised that she was gonna be w minhyuk, and that crushed my lesbian dreams fr

the way rafael’s family chose to handle his ‘sexual assault’ at the beginning is the way things should always be, minus his mother wanting to settle. a father beating you, then disowning you? HELL YEAH THATS THE RIGHT WAY
also, the way his family doesn’t gaf about them both being men, HELL YEAH. that’s the way it should be. i’m tired of seeing families in bls cutting off their sons for being gay/bi/or just not straight in general

there was hardly any angst, everything was consensual, they communicated well and stuck by each other through everything, their respective friends and families are great and they both got what they wanted in the end (career wise) and they have an amazing relationship. honestly, it doesn’t get any better than that. this was such an amazing story, so fluffy and light and a diamond among all these other bls filled with rape violence.

this was actually pretty good, but idk i just feel like there’s something missing - hopefully the side stories will make up for it.

loved the three friends. - john, max and carrie right, such cutie patooties and wish we saw more of allen. i have a love hate relationship with ramirez but her background is also so sad and the last chapter seeing her family was depressing man. i was honestly expecting her to lighten up on shin and they trauma bond and become besties and then get together with carrie i definitely didn’t expect her to die wtf also max’s ex-partner was a cutie too, i was shipping them (also allen and his partner)

good story though, quite similar to guide verse but also very unique as well. cant for the side stories (i say again for the millionth time)

this really was a masterpiece man. i love how plot heavy it was, and wasn’t overshadowed by the two main characters just banging their lives away like how most bls are these days. my only complaint is that i wish there was more lovey dovey romance between jay and yoohan, i just love fluff can’t wait for the side stories
