
Ao no Flag is seriously such a good manga. i've reread this twice now, but the feels and reflection here still gets me every time. it's just sad that most ppl here don't understand the point the author wanted to show here. it isn't about just romance and friendship... it is about decisions, change, unexpected twists in life, self discovery, and many more.
i hope people who were unsatisfied with the ending to reread this again. it looks like most of you guys aren't paying attention or had forgotten some of the details, like taichi's feelings to touma at the beginning. it is why it's hard for you guys understand what transcended after the timeskip and how the ending happened the way it did.
oh now it makes sense how brandon monopolized jin to himself. "you're one of my own" while jin took it as a context of being taken as a family or brandon as a family figure, brandon said it in a context of chaining jin to him, his possession.
also brandon making irredeemable shit up for that younger guy to be killed cuz he slept with jin he's nasty asf
