I finished reading the novel and ennid did not get pregnant btw, there's mpreg in this universe but Glunn didn't want to impregnate ennid bcs it would've shorten ennids life span completely (like what happened to glunns mom) instead they adopted a counts child that has reincarnation ties with the water dragon they met in the cave. They brought the kid to the Eastern country along with them and raised them there as parents.

This life is about the top from the first life getting his second chance with a bottom that doesn’t remember anything. It might be best to think that the "third life" and the second life are taking place simultaneously in alternate universes.
Also the "third life" is marked as a side story, so you can consider the ending of the second life as the main ending.

the top genuinely loves the bottom and probably has some sort of mental issue with obsession and that led to him trying to kill the bottoms dad to end the bottoms suffering in highschool, the bottom however doesnt know that the top reciprocates his feelings (unsure here if the bottom confessed back in hs and got rejected or not story is vague there) so in his mind the top was a close friend turned bully in his eyes which leads to the present, in the coming chapters it might be a long miscommunication arc, or the top confesses that hes liked the bottom all along and the story might end quickly
