I like how Arthur drew the line: “if she invites you, reject her” “don’t talk to Orthez carelessly”.
OOOH BURN every toxic male lead in a chinese novel and their white lotus victim-mentality childhood friend/first love
I also like how Orthez still welcomed Igraine. She says what she wants to say but she keeps her duty and she knows it’s not her job to manage her.

I like it so far—it’s fun and enjoyable! But I kind of wish they didn’t make him the author of the novel. It would’ve made more sense if he was just someone who heard about the story from a friend or read a few spoilers online, and then got isekai’d with a system that tells him where all the OP loot and plot armor are.
I get that he might not know a lot about the academy—honestly, I’m not even sure the original Adel ever went there. Plus, since the novel was written from the protagonist’s POV, it makes sense that he wouldn’t write much detail about the villains until they show up.
But come on, if he’s supposed to be the author of the novel, shouldn’t he know way more about the characters he created? Especially Adel, who’s the final villain! His whole story revolves around revenge for the Arsen family, and yet he knows nothing about them? Why does he even need a piece of paper to remind him of stuff from his own book?
At this point, saying he’s the author is just an excuse so he knows where the protagonist’s cheat items are.
THIS ARTIST IS SOO GOOD! THE ART, THE SEQUENCE, THE HIGHLIGHTS!!
