I was about to throw hands if the MC released the saintess because Midou wanted to be a goddamn hero and then ended up getting everyone even more fked. I’m so glad he shot her and ran off to do things alone. All the other kids are dumb and selfish as hell. He doesn’t need any of them.

Idk why people are mad at the story being fucked up because the story is…meant to be fucked up??? The genre is obviously tragedy and a shit ton of angst, clearly with lots of immoral and dubious things going on. Point is, it’s a melodrama story with tragedy. It’s supposed to make you feel angry and uncomfortable. It’s not supposed to make “sense”. People fall in love for stupid reasons, they do things that are illogical. The plot is going to make you frustrated af because the point is: no one in this story is mentally sane. They’re not perfect, they can be horrible human beings, they can make really bad decisions, and end up suffering with regrets.

They all have trauma and, judging from what I see in the novel, this is a story about healing for everyone involved in the whole bs that led up to the FL’s banishment. It’s not really meant to be a romance story in the most romantic sense. It’s about finding comfort and solace; finding peace of mind in the strangest of places.

You might think it’s stupid or “spineless” of the FL to fall for the kid, but it’s not like she’s doing it on purpose. She’s suffering from her past love and can’t help but see the traces of Bright in his son—which btw, is also Lloyd’s “trauma” because he hates his father. I think the idea is quite poetic: Wisteria moving on from her past love by seeing the “real” Lloyd eventually and Lloyd moving out of his father’s shadows, realizing that he isn’t the same person as his father. Basically, they are exactly the right person to help each other move past their traumas and I think that is what the author is trying to say.

I don’t care what people say about the weird age gap and underlying incest because yes, it’s fucked up and no one is going to deny that. However, just because the FL is mentally weak or the romance is disgusting doesn’t make the story “bad.” Those are two totally different things. A story can be fucked up and still be good.

Anyway, I just feel like all the people bashing the FL for her decisions are reading the wrong story because it’s clearly not the right genre for them. I’ve read a lot of really ridiculous angsty shoujo works and as stupid as they can be, they can surprisingly be incredibly moving. I think the best way to read these types of stories is to stop projecting yourself onto the FL and just read the story like what it’s meant to be: a messed up fictional story about a certain character’s life.

Good or bad ML aside, I kinda like this story lmao? It’s so entertaining to me and actually quite unique since we’re seeing a new generation of characters coming into play. I can already smell everything ending with tragedy and a lot of angst on everyone’s part and I’m all here for it.

You know a story fucked up so badly when at this point, I’d rather ship Yahwi x Cain than Jooin with any of these guys because holy fucking shit NONE of the relationships make sense. I might as well go off the deep end and create a random as fuck pairing and it’ll STILL have more chemistry than whatever the fuckfest the current plot is at the moment. I’m actually laughing so hard lol

I never understand people who say that Ethan was a manipulator, hence why he does not deserve her. Have people forgotten who the biggest manipulator actually is? It’s our female lead herself. What she did to Theon was literally worse and if you’re going to excuse her for her actions because she’s traumatized, then you might as well forgive all three of them because they’re all equally fucked up in the first timeline. Seriously, people need to stop treating the FML like she’s a victim only — she ain’t, she was a perpetrator too. And a really bad one too.

Even if Ethan didn’t goad her into all the evil things she’d done, she would’ve 1000% self destructed anyway. The guy did not make her a tyrant: she was already on her way to bloodshed to begin with and he only helped her become more evil along that process because SHE was the one who wanted it and he BELIEVED it was what she wanted because he too is an equally abused soul. It’s not his job to be her psychiatrist and lead her down the right path when he also has no idea wtf he’s doing aside from loving her. How was he supposed to know Dorothea didn’t actually want the throne when she herself also doesn’t know that? He’s not an omniscient mindreader. All he wanted was to make her desires come true and did it in the only way he knew how: by always being by her side and telling her things she wanted to hear — aka what he had been taught were useful skills to survive.

If Ethan doesn’t deserve Dorothea, then Theon doesn’t deserve Dorothea either (you know if you’ve read the novel), and Dorothea doesn’t deserve Theon for obvious reasons. The cycle goes round and round. So if you’re going to forgive one of them, it’ll be very hypocritical not to forgive all three for the mess they caused in the original timeline. And if you say Dorothea has changed but Ethan has not, then you need to realize she was reborn again but with better people around her; Ethan does not. Even if she can move on from her past, Ethan can’t because he himself has no one but her. Dorothea now has a group of people who will lead her down the right path. But Ethan? Who the hell does he have but her? There’s no one around to tell and TEACH him that he was wrong.

So yeah, welcome to my Tedtalk I guess lol anyways I wish all three of them can move on from the past and be happy eventually. And yes, fuck the dad.

I am so so sick and tired of male MC’s who suddenly get involved with a shit ton of incredibly dumb egotistic tsundere girls who keep getting them into trouble. I wish these so-called loner MC’s would pick their “friends” and comrades more carefully instead of just allowing all the weak damsels in distress to follow them around and make a mess out of things. It’s such an overdone trope and every time it happens, it seriously ruins the story. Find better comrades who are relatively equal and useful to you, like that hero-idealistic guy or the “bad” guy who keeps trying to kill the authorities.

Also, the fact that there are no women characters who are anywhere near intelligent or calm enough to battle also speaks of how frickin biased and misogynistic some of these manga are and it’s so sad and disappointing. We’re not asking for badass OP girls. Just stop portraying women as weak emotional baggages who only have the hots for strong guys.

This relationship is a fucking mess and I’m all for it lol I think the author made this incredibly uncomfortable on purpose and they’re sure doing it well. I wanna punch the lights out of dohyeok and make him open his damn eyes already and Siwoo, you are far too kind for this world. You even cared about Suha, a random stranger when you first met. And now you cared for this fucker who ruined your best friend’s life. This is a giant mess and I don’t see either of them coming out unscathed. But I sincerely wish them both peace and happiness, after they sort out all their shit at the nearest mental hospital please.

This is the first time in my whole life I am sincerely wishing for a third ML. For real, everyone here is fking insane. They all don’t deserve each other at all and are just gaslighting and manipulating one another while stringing each other along at this point. They’re all horrible to each other and need therapy ASAP. If there is no third ML then please let Jooin remain single until he grows up and learns to love himself first. Let Cain forget about the past already because he isn’t a goddamn DOG anymore. And let Yahwi fking leave that god to awful family and create a separate business somewhere away from his family’s reach PLEASE. Go overseas or something.

Excuse me but this is a whole new level of dumbness. Even goody-two shoe OGFL! in other manga aren’t this stupid. They would probably yell something like no, even if he’s evil you can’t murder or hurt someone~ but they would still understand it was not the villainess’s fault for being kidnapped. But THIS GURL? The lion, the witch, and the audacity of this bish?? Are you fking blind or do you seriously not see how a big muscular man is obviously the aggressor when the girl is battered with her sibling frickin crawling with their leg broken????

Yeah ok so Cain fans should probably stop reading this story now because knowing this author and the way they wrote their other WEBTOON, it’s Yahwi end game for sure. It’ll probably just piss everyone off even more if they continue to read this while hoping he’s gonna choose Cain. I highly doubt that’s gonna ever happen with the way the plot is going so save yourself from some headache and go find a better webtoon to read. Now, if you don’t care who ends up with who and is just here for drama and tea at this point, then buckle up and let’s enjoy the ride lol
