No my problem is not that he is toxic or possessive, I have read quite a few stories with a top like that, my problem here is that this story has a cutesy vibe and I have a feeling the author is trying to make it seem like this is type of behaviour is normal. If the story itself tells you and makes sure you know that this is not healthy, it's fine by me. Or even if the story doesn't "tell" you, but let's you decide based on your own values that's also ok. But really this story just really got under my skin with the - by my judgement - inappropriately happy and cute tone.

I literally wrote this comment so that if someone is sensitive to this type of relationship they will know beforehand not to read it.
And also by saying "this generation always says something is romanticized".... Well you just made my point stronger. Maybe the author didn't intend to romanticize it, but trust me, among the readers there are plenty of kids who are way too young for this, way too young to have a solid value system and the capability to properly judge some written down situations. Some of them unconsciously use these stories to learn about relationships and might think this is how a proper relationship works.
I know that this sounds like I'm making a big deal out of something really not this important, but when I wrote that comment I wanted to make sure that if someone needs to hear that this is not the type of relationship that they should be looking for, my comment is there for them.
And one last thing. If you are that okay with the things that the ml is doing in this story maybe you are the one that should go out, touch some grass and meditate a bit.
And don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to talk down or anything, I also read really fcked up sht and my life is definitely not perfect, I surely am not in a position to judge anyone. My sole reason for writing that comment above is to provide guidance if anyone needs it. It's possible that noone will need it but still.

No, not really I dislike abuse just as much as any normal human being would but what the problem is everyone choosing to ignore the tags in these stories and still making a fuss out of it. Like you got what you clicked for and have you ever stopped to think that the author did this for a reason ? Some ppl enjoy stuff like this, not to say that is a good thing or stand for them but it literally what we signed up for. A story to read and then move on. Not to have some hissy fit about and go cry in the comments why the characters are behaving like they were made to be. Some characters were made to be dicks and dumb bottoms like it not hard to see why the creator did that. Also sorry if I went a little to far it was just confusing to me idk.
