Asuka is such a sweetheart and a perfect strong femalae lead. She's given up alot for Ryu. Her values in regards with marriage and those times and happiness she should've got if only he wasn't as busy as he is.
But so as Ryu, he was never the type to get married. And he knew from day 1 that she's someone who wants to get married but still he confessed his feelings because she loves him so in a way he also gave up the values he had towards marrige though he always denies wanting to marry her.
But i do beleive that between rhe two of them Asuka deserves better. She deserves the halpy life she's been yearning and i absolutely adore her facing everything with that sincere smile. Her being kicked out of the management dept, facing Ryu, breaking up with him. She rarely cries and everytime she does i just feel like crying with her. Ghad! If Asuka won't get the happy ending she rightfully deserves I'm burning this house with everyone in it them myself!
All of you here who didn't even bothered to read the novel cries saying how much you'll hate it if she ends up with the ML when you don't even know a piece of the story.
On how much she loved her. He stayed there in her land, basically a slave to her people and is trying so hard to prove to her people that he deserves wherever he is and that he's going to take care of everything for her.
On how much he must've watched her and cared for her. On the novel the moment he laid his eyes on her he knew. He wasn't sure but he knew. It didn't take him that long and she didn't have to slip to have him realize who she really is because he knows her like the back of his hand.
On how much he valued her feelings. He knows how awful her family is. He hated them. But on her honor, for her sake he secretly took those bodies that were supposed to be left by the mountains to rot and gave them a proper place to rest at. Because he knew that they might have been awful people but still that's her family.
And don't start with me in regard with the servants. How can mere servants threaten a lord and get away with it? Its because he knew they are all the same. They all loved her.
Though i do believe that what happened to her in the past is not something that she deserved we do have to admit that she was just as guilty. Sitting pretty and not doing anything despite knowing doesn't necessarily equals to innocence.

In case you really do tknow. If there is a death especially in rencarnation stories it tends to be caused by a truck. People have found it funny that that's what always happens so they called the truck truck kun. We just find it funny this story doesn't follow that pattern.
I wouldn't be surprised if they made a story manga for truck-kun adventures. Lol.

I'm crying at the fact of how Ling Zhi and Sara are like two sides of the same coin. Both foreign, both would want their people honor , both ladies of the same harem and both willing to plunge death to accomplish what they want (it took Sara six years and Ling Zhi is just starting)
But yet so different and equally pitiful (but Sara can be a btch or a literal btch rather)
But this is not the end you would want for a girl who loved her family and people dearly. Once she dies i hope she's welcomed by her people and would find peace away from humans.
