well if i was dying you bet imma screw all the hotties i can while im alive so go my guy
I mean there is nothing necessary wrong with that. My only problem with the MC is that he’s leading people on when they confessed rather than it being mutual friends with benefits. Also he’s intentionally using one person to hurt another. Though that seems to stem from his obsession with getting everyone to hate him before he passes ╥﹏╥

im so confused when did thye become adults? He tian also disappeared for years? And what about the plot we were waiting for that Jian Yi disappeared and reappeared in high school?
I think because the bit where they're kids is meant to be a flashback, we're actually back to the present day. But a flashback for like 400 chapters is a bit..
but back in the early chapters it looks like present day is meant to be in high school after Jian yi returns and all chapters afterwards are before that? Thats what someone said it was a while back anyway. Now, we havent seen Jian Yi's two year disappearance and we know nothing of He tians disappearance its so abrupt
None of the plot makes any sense anymore. Old Xian started this comic over 10 years ago, I think she doesn't stick with the original idea anymore to be honest. You change a lot as a person, especially from early 20s to 30s.. I guess she has a different vision now. Just my assumption though.
The plot makes complete sense. It's easier to understand the whole story if you read it all in one go. I can understand finding it harder to follow if you're someone who has been following it for many years.
i have been following since 2017. Can you please explain the things i mentioned im confused about? :)
Of course! This is long but I tried to be very detailed about everything you asked.
So chapters 1 - 42 were simply short comic strips and it isn't until chapter 43 when we start to see the first of any kind of plot be introduced between the two main characters Jian Yi and Zhan Xixi. It is confirmed through chapters 43-48 that Jian Yi disappeared on the second day of starting high school and we see in chapter 48 that Zhan Xixi is in university and Jian Yi also wants to go to the same university. So I would consider the very first plot chapters to be the "adult" arc chapters. However, starting from chapter 51 is where the "flashback" arc begins for almost the entirety of the rest of the series. The flashback arc starts with Jian Yi and Zhan Xixi in middle school, because of the information we confirmed earlier with Jian Yi disappearing at the start of high school, so we know the flashback timeline is in middle school. The "flashback" storyline continues up until chapters 442 and 445, these are the very last two chapters we have seen with the four boys being in middle school. Since then up until now, almost all of the chapters have been back in the "adult" storyline like I mentioned at the earlier. But I do want to say, if you read all of the "flashback" storyline, you will notice the chapters that were released on/around holidays like Christmas, New Years, etc. These holiday chapter side stories were ALSO in the "adult" storyline woven in when the flashback storyline was playing out for so many years, this is how we know the current chapters (chapters 446 - present) and in the "adult" arc. If you look at the four boys, they look the same in the holiday chapters as they do in the present. For example, Little Mo has more piercings on his ears as an adult versus when he was in middle school. So I hope this clears up the timeline.
So throughout the "flashback" storyline it is constantly talked about how He Tian will eventually be sent away to study abroad. He Tian has been trying to avoid this for a long time, but eventually he can't avoid it any longer, so eventually he does go abroad to study and it is being forced by his family (and older brother). We have not seen (yet) in the flashback storyline of He Tian going abroad, but in a chapter 461 we get to see He Tian opens a sealed up box at Little Mo's apartment, He Tian's finds memories that Little Mo kept from when they were younger. One of these memories was an name card that students would wear on their shirts that had their name and what year they were in school. The name card shows He Tian was in Year 3 of Class 5 and it shows underneath high school. So we can assume that He Tian probably went abroad for university and left Little Mo and ends up returning a few years later. It seems like everyone is working and has a job in the current adult storyline, so we can assume the boys are probably in their mid-20s. So He Tian and Little Mo were probably separated for a few years (probably 4 years because of university).
Once again, like I mentioned above, Jian Yi never reappeared in high school, we see at the beginning of the story (chapter 43) that Jian Yi reappeared when Zhan Xixi was in college and that Jian Yi disappeared the second day of the start of high school. We saw when Jian Yi returned (chapter 43) that he wanted to go to the same university as Zhan Xixi, so we can probably assume it was at the beginning of college when Jian Yi returned and He Tian ended up going abroad right after high school. So basically Jian Yi returned just when He Tian ended up leaving.
Hope this clears everything up.
