This manhwa had left me really grovelling to the point I had to read bits of the novel to satiate this really unsatisfied feeling in my stomach. I feel better but not the best.
The 2nd ml in this Manhwa was bad, yes, but honestly a yellow to semi green flag. In no way he deserved that shitty ass ending, even if I wanted yato to be end game. He deserved peace in the Manhwa. Anger issues is trauma, of course trauma shouldn’t define your actions, yet he was healing, he realised it late enough. He deserved soru but soru didn’t deserve him. That was it, but he didn’t deserve this miserable ending in this Manhwa.
I don’t know if I liked it, it left such a bittersweet feeling.
So of course I knew the novel was different, and had a gut feeling that he would cheat. Yet I have to say, there he definitely is a jerk and a cheater so a red flag, yet I still could not completely hate him. I understood his actions. Still it made me feel so much better. There he deserved it.
