this is draaaaagging and I say this as someone who likes slow pacing but they are moving in a circle? the whole thing of him not giving up on his family and it's made worse with how, with time, he only gets dumber and dumber, even the smut is dragging, and you know it's bad when we are reaching the last arc but the problem is still dragging. like I know the ending going to be ass like woosh the problem is solved here both mc happy ever after with not reflection not growth even though the whole work is 100+ chapter (which is LONG by bl standard)

like if I can cut some chapters off throughout the work it will be good, some of the reflection happening in later chapters is good and everything but please why is the uke getting washed down to nothing but his family problem? him losing his smart ass personality after multiple betrayals and disappointments of his family is kinda contradicting? I don't have a problem with him going back to his family multiple time cause sometimes it do be like that but can't you at least not make him an airhead while doing that? give him more? nuance?

rightttt I feel like the author got the order switch up, he was so smart before and so aware but now he kinda downgraded to this. I know smut brings bread to the table but isn't it a bit too much readers would get enough of it too it keep losing momentum, we were at the most interesting part then bam smut!

I gotta say this is the type of manhwa that is really suited for novel formal. Although I haven't finished half the work yet and it's mlt, the writing the pacing is good.
the novel takes its time to paint a whole scene, chapters alternate between past and present, and each chapter gives a glimpse of understanding the character and their demeanor and it helps you understand next/previous chapter better. The whole work is around 10 chapters but each chapter is 50+ pages
I have to say though, mc is a bit wishy washy and I got bad feeling when he moved in with the ml quickly in beginning but what surprised me was this is one of the few bls where no is innocent, everyone knows that they got that immorality in them, and it is pretty interesting how they go about it (their motives, guilt, shame and the breakdown of their internal monologue)
I'm still not sure how fast things going to move seeing how easily the mc agreed to help ml and move in with him, even when all previous present time chapters was about he he needs to bury everything and run away but also it discussed how guilty he felt.
I might come back here once I finish it and if it didn't let me down

ngl the story is kinda ass. it is rushed, a relationship, a baby and marriage in 50 chapters??? the uke got pregnant and kept the baby when they weren't even in a proper relationship.
this manhwa is still popular with korean readers, getting new chapters and even merchandise...I remember not liking the story, so I reread it thinking I might be incorrect but nah it's still ass. from all other great bl manhwa that deserve this attention, but this one gets it? lol

not in this storyline. I don't know what got your panties twisted over this, must be a die hard fan of this bs lol.
anyway, seeing a character who had so much love and passion for something, then throw it away because he got pregnant when he had no desire to be, with someone he didn't know at a deeper level, is kinda? rushed? stupid? like scraping everything he was as character just for a baby that he could had got it aborted. this would've been handled better if they at least were in a relationship. and to make it even worse, even after he had the baby, he has no personality and almost reduced down to being a "mom" while the alpha had like 3 personal arcs
I bet if this was hetro the author would've been called a misogynist and bad at writing but I guess bl is no critical thinking zone

If you think this is ass then you're not ready for the deep dark hole of BL stories you'll encounter.
Btw clearly you did not understand the characters personality if you think it was weird the uke took responsibility for the baby. I think you're frustrated because for you he is ruining his life and maybe that's hitting you personally but he grew up in an orphanage he wanted that baby and for him to have a family.
If you want a real fcked up story read Domestic Na Kanajo and you'll be traumatised.

for me, regardless of the content, writing and pacing could make or break a story.
I do understand his desire for a family that he never had, but it isn't executed well, if anything it was somewhat selfish (and stupid), to hide the baby from the father and hide himself in apartment without thinking of the outside world and how to navigate his situation with the baby, especially when he gets born. All this was taken lightly, of course, cause everything will turn "well" in the end
it's almost funny to take such works seriously but oh well I can't turn my brain off like that

It is selfish and stupid but that's the whole point they are trying to navigate something unknown. The top also was having problems with omegas so thats another thing. The uke tried everything as best as he could with his situation. I agree that the author could have showed it better.
You having a problem with how the author showed it is normal that's part of reading, even I felt like it is kinda rushed. It could also because of publishing problem wanting them to wrap it up either way it effected the readers' immersion but all in all it was still a good mahnwa.
And you taking the work seriously and getting invested on the characters, getting angry, sad or happy on their decisions is the fun part no? Thst means you're invested in whatever you read I do that too!

Nah not really one of my personal faves, but I enjoyed it as some light reading.
As to the baby part, which is really the crux of what I take issue with in your take, if someone in a demanding career was in a similar situation and chooses to carry to term and have a baby that's not such an unrealistic thing it happens all the time, it happens now with people choosing to parent as a single parent too. Yi-rim also didn't "throw his passion away" he took a break, that also happens IRL all the time, plenty of pro athletes and celebs take time off to start families or have babies. Why is that a weird notion to you? Further, it appears like the side stories are touching on Yi-rim getting back into figure skating, so it's not like having a baby has ended his career forever.

Personally I enjoy the side stories more than I did the main story, the main story was good but had some irritating factors that left me drained when I'd see an update. The side stories take the cake for me and made me stay, I'm a sucker for good coparenting and a cute baby, and yeah! There's a lot of other great bl out there but for the category of omegaverse, this one has scored higher on my list than...the majority of em.

Also, he takes a break from his career because he's pregnant, it's something that is gonna effect how you skate and since he aimed to keep it, it wouldn't have been safe to continue, especially in a sport that is as dangerous as ice skating can be, falls on the ice, the skates being a major liability and all!
It's okay to have your opinions but there's no need to be nasty abt it :/
also box dye blondi couldn't get laid so he started abuse drugs due to his body dysmorphia from his twink death?? he wanted that omega bussy so bad
LMAOO
Your psychoanalysis of Blondie has me screaming
