i think i might just be the grinch cuz am i the only one who was so frustrated with how the reaper was so transfixed on the bottom? like man you are a grim reaper whos so close to retirement, pull yourself together! youve seen millions of people die and im sure youve seen how tragic each of them were and how some begged to see their family or even dumped their entire life stories for a second chance, but this aged reaper just so happened to fall in love with this guy...? not only do i not feel the chemistry but their relationship just doesnt hit with me, i dont root for them at all, it might be especially since the plot is so heavily focused on the smut instead of actual progress... i just dont care for any character except the second reaper, that guy was cool and i thank him for trying to add some flavor to the plot, but besides that, the story is far too surface level for me to get into it at all. i dropped this a few chapters ago, saw it again on my feed, and when i saw the season finale dropped i got curious, just to be disappointed once again. the season finale was... the gem breaking... which is directly related to, you guessed it, their sex life. this was such an interesting concept, too.

Really loved this, I wish they had a more deeper conversation about how MC had a misunderstanding that the feelings on MLs side were purely instinctual & also delved into the fact that MC wants to help prevent people from being vampires, or something like a vigilante. is it just me or did everything abt this story feel so... unsatisfactory? like damn was it interesting but i feel just worse after reading it like nothing adds up, why did mc keep so many traitors around for so long, how the hell did ml fall in love (i get that one chapter it was like "it happened before we even realized" what did??? mc begging him to stay??? how did that blossom love and loyalty??? i wouldve at least preferred it if they kept their "master & dog" complex so itd feel like it made a little more sense), how tf did the teacher and brother end up mating, & more importantly i wanted to see mc and the scarred bodyguards relationship!!! theyve been with each other the entire time, i wish we got to see them act more than boss/employee bc their relationship seemed to have the most trust, history, loyalty, and development to them </3
