I'm also a little lost but I'm pretty sure shin wants to have a heir not just because of of a dragon blessed kid but because they need someone to take over the throne when Wolfgang dies, not only that but the nobles will think their king is breaking all customs and is indulging in useless pleasures with shin, also a heir with another country aka a queen kinda secures the nation from disputes with the country and establishes a bond, this is also the reason why shin is holding a party for someone Wolfgang can meet, now alathea was like don't worry about that I'll be your godmother and you will have a bond with my country while shin bears a magical child in his magical womb and now all those problems listed above are gone. Of course shin is still worried because alatheas country is knows for a bunch of stuff and kinda furthers the notion that the king is lazy and hypocrital, now the next upcoming chapters might elaborate on alatheas plans but this is what's going on so far.

Shin will carry Wolfgang's heir through his magical womb, forgot to mention this.

okay so i have read ch 79 and Alathea became imortal and wanted to help others they set them free bc people would drain them for there blood (also alot of them were in pain) and he had a learn how to use medicine too (the only way to let an imortal die is if it drinks another imortals blood)and they explain how the third condition Alathea is going to lead the abandon ones and head north to meet the dragon so Alathea can ask of the power and they need the goldenleonard authority.
(there was the part were they found about how the imortals can die and so there was this boy very injuied but couldnt die like lost on arm guts out blood everywhere and where they saw this they were terrfied and started to pray and choke the boy so he could die and Alathea started crying blood and the blood went into the boys mouth and he died AND ALSO IM PRETTY SURE THERE THIS PART WHERE Alathea’s LIGHT A WHOLE COUTCH ON FIRE WHILE THEM SITTING ON IT TO PROVE HE CANT FEEL IT SORRY IF THIS DONT MAKE SENSE IM SUPER TRIED

ghe issue wirh romance is fantasy is how forced/misogynistic it is

typically iy's "wow guy is OP so women all love him" which is exactlt how incels see it. The market does this because social rejects gobble it up and make them feel backed up and correct.

I think the jealous factor plays a bit. I remember when I first got into these fandoms I was young and got jealous of the female protagonist and having a crush on the male one I hated the female, so the next best thing was boyXboy. I bet you that in this site if Art got together with Elijah everybody would be ecstatic.

I follow the comic in its original as well and the Tess, Art relationship is liked there. Honestly I like them too.
